A must go solely for the French toast - up there with the best I've ever had. The bread was thick, fluffy, soaked with the perfect amount of batter because the inside texture was not soggy nor dry. The mascarpone filling must've melted because it wasn't visible yet the flavor was there and that's what matters!The bread pudding was delish, a creamy sauce on the side as an option would be nice - not necessary! But I love me some sawce.Ambiance and service was perfect for a chill brunch. Good music and warm, inviting decor.** The not so great was a pretty big leak in the bathroom ceiling that required 2 buckets to be placed in the center of the only bathroom. And the blueberry compote on the French toast was cold. Both things are easily corrected and wouldn't deter me from returning or recommending. I absolutely plan to return ! Especially in the warmer months because they have ample outside seating .

This is the breakfast/lunch/coffee shop I have been looking for! Chill vibe. Parking. Friendly staff. Happy customers. Delicious food. I have seen it when driving by and just had a feeling I wanted to check it out. After reading the reviews here, I decided to take a friend from out of town before dropping her off at Newark Penn Station to catch the Acela. She ordered the Pepper Bacon Sausage Omelet, Ginger smoothie and latte. I ordered the Tofu Scramble and a cappuccino. The food was amazing. We had to take a pause in our conversation to savor the flavors. I am not a vegan but appreciate vegan cuisine when creatively done with whole ingredients. I was not disappointed. She said the sausage was incredible so, not being a vegan I gave it a taste and agree. Also took a sip of the ginger smoothie ... Wow. I will be back, with friends or for a solo lunch or even a creative couple of hours with my laptop and a cappuccino.

What a wonderful hidden treasure! We’ve driven by so many times without stopping in but I’m so glad we finally did. Food and drinks were all fantastic and service was warm and friendly. Stopped in before heading to an afternoon movie. I've drove past several times and was intrigued by the place. Finally, we made it here. Upon arriving, we were a bit confused as to where to park. They do have a small lot but it was kind of confusing to understand where to go once pulling up due to the area being very industrial like. There was a DJ there which was pretty cool. It set a nice vibe to the place. I ordered the vegan French toast because I was craving French toast for quite sometime. It was very well made. We also got vegan Mac and cheese for the table to share and it was delicious! The texture was amazing and it was very flavorful. I am not vegan but always open to trying new things and the food was spot on. The only recommendation I have is to work on the decor of the establishment. I feel like it is going for an eclectic vibe but it comes off a bit shabby.

Amazing dirty chai. Not to sweet or spicy! The sweet chicken&sidekick (chicken & waffles) was solid. Loves the waffle and chicken was flavored well. A little dry but great flavor! Amazing choices for carnivores, vegans, and vegetarians!!!!!!!

IVAN is amazing!! My sister and I have been coming to this cafe for 3years or more and it is much better when IVAN is working because his patience is amazing. We both are picky eaters and picky coffee drinkers.Out of all the employees who work at this cafe Ivan is the best not just I say so but people who were recommended to come here. What a humble young man!The food is pretty good!!!!!!!!!! My favorite is the Blueprint vegan burger and my sister's is the vegan sausage sandwich.The prices for the food as raised which was surprising. Which Slows me down from coming as often.But overall the environment and food Deserve more than a 5 start.So check it out if you are ever in the area you're not going to regret it.

I ordered off of Grubhub recently and was excited because Blueprint Cafe got lots of good reviews and had a relatively large vegan menu. I ordered whole wheat pancakes and tofu scramble. Both were really good. The pancakes were a little sweet and the description said buttermilk and said vegan so I assume the buttermilk wasn't accurate. If there was option to get syrup on the side I would have taken it but Grubhub didn't offer it nor comments. That said I ate the whole thing and enjoyed it. The tofu scramble was also good although I agreed with another reviewer that it needed more seasoning. Also it was a little watery perhaps because the tofu wasn't drained enough or the vegetables like pepper and spinach gave off too much water but the potatoes were awesome and toast was great and the scramble was still very tasty. Overall I still really liked this dish. I will definitely order from Blueprint again and try some of the other options. Thanks for making great vegan food available!
