This place is completely FRAUD. My people please check your receipts and bank transactions , make sure everything is good and right before stepping out of the place. They ALWAYS over charge you . And when you catch them and make the calculations, they act like it was a mistakes. That is a LIE, they know exactly what they are doing. Until someone reports this place to the authorities, they will never learn. This happened to me about 3 different times. I know what am saying . Do not fall a victim.

Food is good but they are stingy with everything. If you see the sauce container and how much sauce they give you will laugh. I’ve also never had attieke with the plantain not included. $9 for plantain is criminal and greedy.

Food is fair for the price. Customer care and attitude is crazy. How can someone attend to a customer while eating and licking fingers while talking with food in her mouth. Disgusting and barbarism

Staff polite, served your meal right at the table. The place was well lit, spacious and clean, same for the bathroom very clean.
Parking: Maybe on the inside streets you’d have better luck but on the main road it wasn’t very easy per se

First let’s start with the way they treat American customers absolutely disgusting. To think that these foreigners would come into an urban community with hopes of incorporating their cuisines and culture with a positive light this isn’t the eatery to try. Now aside from my experience as a paying customer let’s discuss the food. I have eaten jolloff rice from many ethnical backgrounds This locations host by far the worst. Rice very over cooked and the sauce was extremely ruined with a burnt taste. I’m not sure if everyone gets this experice or again maybe it was just because of my being American and the back and fourth that transpired over me voicing the sheer rudeness and lack of customer concern I witnessed firsthand as well as just a by stander to other American customers I watch change their mind about shopping due to this .Lastly let’s discuss pricing it was 22$ for a whole chicken and a half of scoop of rice if I didn’t pay in advance I would of shopped elsewhere as well
0 out of 10 do not reccomend! My 1st time and absolutely horrible experience due to POOR customer service. Noone greets you when you walk in. Sat at a table for 5 minutes, noone ever said may I help you or address me as a customer. I get up walk on the other side, then there's a woman with an attitude barking for me to come around to the other side. Bow I'm asking question about the menu (1st time customer) & she has an attitude explaining wat the items are.. smfh if u didn't want 2 come 2 work 2day. U shouldve stayed home!!! Needless to say I'll be waiting until tomorrow when the other african cuisine spot up the block opens.. smfh

For starters, let me just state that this was my first time ever eating African food. I had okra, white rice, and debie. This eatery was highly recommended by a friend, and it was delicious. However, the person cooking was really unpleasant when I returned alone one day, and I nearly decided not to return even though I was really craving it. I returned to give it one last try, and I'm glad I did because I visit this place nearly every week. The individual I interacted with during this interaction was really kind and supportive. I haven't tried anything else on the menu, but the white rice and okra combination is AMAZING. The best part is that there is a lot of food and it is quite reasonably priced.

I ordered jollof rice with dibi, and attieke with grilled fish. Hands down the best african food i have had so far. It is a bit expensive but it is very worth it. Will absolutely buy again!!!

Stay away from this place.First of all the place had a very bad smell, it was so bad that I had to wait for my food outside.I ordered the whole fried chicken, jollof rice and some other stuff. They gave me an old refried chicken, with some missing parts.Don't even bother asking for a refund, a replacement or a manager (she's the rudest person I've ever met). This was a complete waste of money, I threw the chicken in the garbage.
