The fact that this place doesn't have more reviews is a travesty. I went during normal breakfast hours on a weekday and it was jam packed. I went based on a suggestion from one of my videos and I could not be happier to have come here. I will say that the woman at the front was incredibly friendly, but there was a bit of a language barrier for a moment there, I ended up just kind of pointing to what I wanted by the end of it, but it all worked out fine. I think I was the only person who was not from some form of Spanish heritage in the building, which honestly made me want the food even more, haha.
I got the "Tosta Mista" and a large coffee. For the milk for the coffee they frothed it up before adding and I liked that little touch. I added a splenda and that was enough for me to really enjoy this coffee on a really cold morning. The sandwich was basically like the best grilled ham and cheese you've ever had. Lots of cheese, pressed bread with butter and garlic, delicious ham. It wasn't too much or not enough. It did feel weird eating a food that I have always known to be a lunch type food for breakfast, but it was also cool to try things that they would do in other countries rather than the typical egg sandwich.
The sandwich and the coffee was like $7.60...for real. Absolute no brainer, if I lived anywhere near Newark I would be here ALL the time. No Pao at Café Caffe - Didn't Suck!

The ladies in the front are nice but the food was not good. Fries are too thin, burnt and discolored as if they are old. The Cuban is not a real Cuban so think twice if you are planing to order it. They don’t use pulled pork and they don’t put enough pickles and mustard on the sandwich, taste very dry and so from this experience I will not spend my money at this location again.

I love this bakery so much! I usually get a cup of coffee with a tostameista, which is bread with ham and cheese pressed down. The environment is pleasant, and they have larger tables, making it perfect for sitting down with your whole family. Plus, they have a free parking lot, which is really convenient.

I ordered a very simple bifana and it wasn’t even busy but I waited 30 minutes for it so there goes my lunch breakNever again thanks
I ordered a sandwich to go, it had no taste. It was just tasteless meat with bread. I expected something better, disappointed!?

This restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes in a rather roomy atmosphere. The staff members are friendly. The personnel and meals have a bilingual Spanish/English concept. It was delicious to have a sausage, egg, and cheese on a French croissant! This is a nice spot for breakfast.
