Took my sister in law here to get her birthday cake and OMG it was delightful. When she placed her order, i asked her to bring me a piece of cheesecake and wow wow wow! The best cheesecake I've had. Not too sweet, and tasted just right. I had my 50th bitlrthday cake from here. As well as my cake for my celebration when I became Pastor of my church.

We stopped here to gather so treats while we were in New Jersey. The cheesecakes, as always, were delicious and creamy. The tri color pastry was dry. Jelly very tart and good, but the cake part was not. (The tri color cookies were too :(.) The fruit tart was good. The tart cup was crumbly and cinnamony, but the middle part was soggy and falling apart. The chocolate mousse cake was absolutely amazing!! Cake was moist and cream was light. The cookies: linzer tart was soft and jelly was great and tart, pine nut cookie was soft and chewy- I didn't like it. The jelly cookie was good, tasted like like an Italian cookie should. Overall it was delicious and we'll be back!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to leave one for this bakery. For YEARS I have been trying to find a local bakery that has red velvet that’s even a fraction close to as good as the ones from my favorite bakeries in Brooklyn and London. I finally found rival red velvet at calandras. If you like true red velvet with real cream cheese frosting that’s nice and moist and not dry, you must come here. The cream cheese frosting is really the highlight of this cupcake. It’s like having a little mini cheesecake on top and it’s delicious!

Went to prudential center last week and sat in the lofts which had a fabulous dessert bar catered by Calandras…everything was delicious
