visited an authentic Portuguese bakery, while waiting for my truck to be loaded. Tiny custard pies are amazing. I also got a piece of Portuguese bread that was just as amazing. The people running the shop are very friendly and helpful. Definitely will return if I'm ever in the area picking up or dropping off goods.
Being from Fall River, Ma , we have the luxury of being surrounded by many Portuguese bakeries and natas.
We visited Newark and decided to stay for a cup of coffee. The natas had just come out of the oven. It was by far the BEST nata I’ve ever had!!!

The pastries and lattes were so delicious and Orqidea was incredibly hospitable. Would highly recommend! If you’re in town visiting, don’t make the mistake of doordashing your breakfast, just walk here.
