Every time I come to this restaurant I see firsthand how patient the employee whose name is Noemim ( I think!) is with all of the customers regardless of any language barriers, etc. I started coming here a little less than a year ago and because of her friendly conversations, I always get more excited when she’s the server lol. It’s so heartwarming to find a place that sells great food & great service in one! This place is truly lucky to have her! PS. The food always tastes as if you’re in DR lol. Great vibes!

Drove 19 min yesterday 9/26/24 arrived by 7:24pm. Prior to me I see a guy tried to open the door of restaurant and seemed closed but with an OPEN SIGN, lights on and employee visible inside. Then I tried just in case and the door was LOCKED with a sign next to it stating OPEN UNTIL 8PM ON THURSDAYS. I took pictures and recorded because this is incredibly wrong. While doing so 3 other people tried to open, so the owner is loosing costumers because a FEMALE EMPLOYEE WANTS TO BE LAZY. PROOF BELOW.

I called inquiring about what type of soup they had at the moment and the young lady who answered the phone did not speak English and I only speak a little bit of Spanish so she gave the phone to someone who did speak English. I appreciated that. I proceeded to ask about the soup and this lady replied “What?” with an attitude so I repeated myself and she hung up the phone on me. I called back twice right after and recieved no answer. Will never attempt to order anything else from the place of business.

Never been here before we wanted some breakfast so we decided to check them out. We walked in place looked clean, nice. We walked in and the employee saw us from the kitchen walked out towards us then walked back into the kitchen and we stood standing there for about 5 mins . No welcoming just let us stand there. We wanted to support but they’re so rude not even acknowledging us. Blasting bad bunny like it’s a club it’s 9 in the morning. Def won’t be coming or supporting anyone who sees customers and just walks away ??

It’s really hard to give less than 5 stars. After passing by so many times, I finally gave it a try and certainly was not disappointed.
The ambiance is welcoming, clean and modern. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is tasty and flavored, portions were on the larger end too. The price point matches the demographic and there’s free parking in-front of the store.
I had chicken soup, rice beans, plantains, & chicken. Can’t wait to be back :)

Cheap and delicious authentic Caribbean cuisine. Try their Pernil or Chicken Stew with rice and beans, they're my favorite!!!

I always buy food at this place to take home, and without a doubt it is one of the best Dominican restaurants that the food tastes good in vdd, I love it ♥️..

love this place great food for a good price! Noemi always makes it feel like you went to your moms kitchen for a meal very warm and attentive person also patient with my picky child makes the over all experience even better! 10/10
