My family and I are avid rodizio diners and we decided to try Casa Nova as a new place for rodizio. Service was standard at best I felt a bit of aggression from service but may be just cultural differences but let me digress. I was disappointed on the limited variations of meat (picanha was their main meat which was cooked well and salted perfectly) there are 14 types stated on their menu but we only were offered maybe a third to half of their meats. Average overall. As with all Brazilian BBQ, it's a place to load up on your meat. The choices were hot or miss. From perfectly cooked sirloin to almost burnt sausages and clearly blue meat. The food kept coming for a while but the service was patchy. We were given a dessert menu at the end but no one followed up, so we skipped it. I'm not sure there's better Brazilian BBQ places in the ironbound. If not, that's sad.
