I ordered on the tablet there, idk guess I was one of the lucky ones, no issues. Was $20 but thought the combo hit the spot. Then again I was starving, but yea not bad/decent combo sub.
The turkey sandwich with 2 sides is a pretty solid deal - considering you're paying an airport premium. Sandwich was good. You can watch them work on orders and you can generally tell they care about doing it right. Wish they had roast beef though.One thing to note is that they may just leave your order on the far left of the counter, while sometimes they call out and hand off on the right - can get confusing if you're waiting for your name to be called like some others.
The food in Newark Airport is embarrassingly terrible. The options are limited and prices are ridiculously over the top. That said, this spot is one of best of an awful lot. But don't kid yourself. It doesn't compare to a real Italian deli. Your meatball sandwich will be prepared with all of the precision and care of a cafeteria worker. Mangia!
