I have ordered from here at least a handful of times, the food is great and the service is nice. I just wish the prices were consistent. Sometimes I pay a couple extra dollars on the exact same order. Aside from that It would’ve gotten 5 stars.

I was at this restaurant a few days ago, ordered the jollof rice and goat meat on the side - delicious!!! I craved that smoky jollof again today with goat meat and peppered fish. The fish was just fried with a small scoop of stew on it:( The rice and meat were the same except I got some pieces of goat meat stewed and some not stewed which is a bit disappointing as the stew is really good. I think they need to work on being consistent.

Let me start with the pies (I got meat and chicken ).I love the meat pie the chicken was good but the meat pie was my favorite.I tasted it when I got back home and I regret not getting more for later .I went there purposely to explore Nigerian Cusine and I was not disappointed at all everything tasted very nice even though it was my first time trying them .I got efo riro with poundo ,Jollof and fried rice . I was not really a fan of the fried rice but I loved the authentic smoky Nigerian vibe of the jollof very flavorful and fresh the chicken that came with the jollof too was very well spiced and delicious tender and very flavorful.The portions were very fair in my opinion for the prices .The salt and spices were well balanced just on point .I shared with a friend and even had some for the next day .The lady who served us was so sweet and polite .Parking was my only problem .Definitely worth the travel and money .Everything tasted like homemade food .Highly recommend!

Workers were super nice. I was given clearly old food that was reheated. I was so excited after seeing reviews and TikTok’s of this great and fresh soul food. I am extremely disappointed when I was served 2-3 days old mac and cheese already coagulated and sitting. I spent $40 and will be throwing majority of the food out as it’s old and cooked in old oil. To say I am disappointed is an under statement. I will say the woman behind the counter was helpful and pleasant but I will not be returning as the food was poor.

I'm not sure if what I saw on the internet was a few years ago but when I visited it was definitely not what I saw, they was out of certain food items which was understandable but I got the oxtails and they were burnt to the taste and wasnt all that good. I would love to try them out again I do believe they were just having a rough day that day. But service was good and the atmosphere was good as well and the people was nice.

Oh and its actually affordable. The owner is really relatable and down to earth. She's so nice and is hands on with her customers. The chicken wings are so good. Loved their Jollof rice! The fried whiting was also really good. I did order the goat meat expecting a few tender, flavorful pieces—especially since the description said it would be “seasoned in spicy pepper blend and sautéed to perfection”—but I only got one piece. It was super tough, over-fried, and nearly impossible to chew, especially the skin. It didn’t have much flavor either. As for the wings, there was a bit too much breading for my taste. I reheated them the next day and the meat just fell off the bone.
