First of all, I want to tell you that Cordobesas has been open during the pandemic on Saturdays between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Everything is, of course, to go. Cordobesas is a small family-owned restaurant. And boy what a treat it is! I've had my share of empanadas, and when I say these are the best I ever had, I mean it. They are a nice size, perfectly cooked, and the seasoning on the generous portions inside of all the different varieties of empanadas they offer is simply wonderful. Hands down a winner, and worth traveling for. Thank you Sylvana and mom!

The ham, egg & cheese empanada and coffee were fantastic! I was also so impressed by the two women that worked there. Such sweet people! It was a great experience.

Spotless cafe, Great empanada, love the dulce donuts, tarts are good early in week but not quite as fresh by wed.

They often run out of the best empanadas so you must get there earlier than 3PM. Sadly they do not open on the weekends or after 5 or 6 PM. However, if you do get there on time, ALL the empanadas are delicious. The cashiers are very friendly. Also, you must try the alfajor cookies. I highly recommend them.

OK so first of all, the place is cute clean and has a nice vibe. Everybody knows empanadas are the new black, everybody thinks they can make a good empanada but we all realize that just because something is hip doesn't mean everybody can do it. That is definitely not the case here--these people can do it, to it, do it... What can they do? Kick it out of the park with some decent ingredients friendly vibe-reasonable prices and something that is fresh and tasty it goes right to your belly...warms it up and makes you smile.

Tried it out for the first time - place is decent but not spectacular. Less than an hour after the meal (3 beef empanadas) and I can't remember what the food tasted like. If the food didn't impress you to begin with and you can't recall/savor the taste so soon afterwards, it is just average.

One of the places that tests my will-power. Between the empanada choices and the desserts, it's a challenge to limit myself or park far enough away to walk off the excess.

The empanadas were amazing! My favorite is the chorizo. Excellent customer service. This place also has quite a relaxing vibe. I love the appearance!

Delicious fresh ingredients. Worth traveling for. Most authentic empanadas I have had in the entire new york area. Generous portions.

We stopped in for a cup of joe. Though it was quite small, it was great coffee!
