I got there first thing Sunday morning. I was able to get my large male crabs. Wish they had some jumbo. My order was provided fresh , fast and the service was awsome. I drive from new york just to come here. Very pleased.

They're selling crabs that need to be thrown back in the water bc the crabs still need to eat... this place is all about profit vs. quality... don't waste ya'll money here bc that's all it will be, is a waste. They had the nerve to have a pack of hotdogs in the case with crabs...
They didn't have what my Aunt was looking for, but maybe it's just a seasonal crab ? thing. But always a food spot as far as I know.

I stopped by this Crab Palace on my way from Baltimore to Albany, drawn in by the high reviews. Unfortunately, I have to agree with some of the less favorable feedback.
The crabs I ordered were supposed to be female and medium-sized, but I received a mix of male and female crabs, all of which were small and, disappointingly, mostly empty. There was an overwhelming amount of crab legs compared to actual crabs, and even those were not as meaty as expected.
I understand that predicting the quality of the crabs is challenging, but perhaps weighing them or providing extra as a precaution could improve the experience.
While this may be a popular spot with lots of patrons, I found the quality lacking and doubt I will return.
