i loved the place and the people!
Great food. Took awhile to make but the food was delicious. Ordered a big meal and my friends very much liked their food too
Excellent service and delicious food!
My Momma is effectively (after many years) deaf, yet she happened to work with deaf students as a Guidance Counselor for a living, hence she is fluent in ASL. This place was the BOMB! We had to wait a bit for food due to a delivery snafu (no fault of this place) but we were made very comfortable, and welcome, while we waited. My Mother and I were able to enjoy our lunch, watch a film, and were even given a delicious fried treat by the owner. Love this place.

We had a great time. Owner is nice and gave a free fried Oreos. Food is good. Felt at home.
My 1st time there and it was an experience. The food is delicious. The owner is friendly. She takes the order, cooks, and serves the food. It's a Wan show that seems to run well.I plan to return. I love the idea of a place wear the deaf community can congregate and feel very comfortable.
The food was fresh and prepared to order and the prices are were great too! And the owner was so nice as well.
Ordered the salmon burger and sweet potato fries. SO so good, prepared when I ordered! I highly recommend - the food is delicious and the mission is noble!
Restaurantji Recommends
Love love love it. The salmon is to die for. My second favorite is the fried chicken and don't get me started on the sweet potato fries whew!!!!
Looking for a black owned spot and didn't even notice that it's geared for deaf people! A really cool conceptAmazing people and amazing food. Will definitely be back
Great place to chill and food is awe!!!!
FIRST TIME THERE
Ahhhhhh, that Flounder fish plate is soooo satisfying, that it's in my rotation, now. I'm there every week. Evvvvvery week. The service the restaurant does for the deaf community is unlike ANY OTHER restaurant, in Newark. So, to know that I'm supporting a place that goes under the radar is everything. ??
