I usually dont write reviews but i was curious about the reviews after i ordered and got nervous when i saw all of the negative ones!
I ordered the jollof rice/chicken and an order of puff puff and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The portion of rice is enough for at least two meals, and enough for me to make the chicken stretch as well! Just wish it was a little spicier! All in all, im glad i didnt listen to the reviews. I will order again.

I ordered egusi soup and look what I received a bowl of stew with a spoon of egusi. I paid 30 for a half a bowl that ridiculous. The portion size is not worth it. The food was tasty though. You guys need to do better for your customers. Very disappointed

I don’t really understand how they will keep selling slimy jollof and chicken the food is so bad it’s like they cook the food with okra water yall need to do better it’s food no body want food poisoning the state needs to check you guys

Please do not order from this restaurant. I have ordered egusi soup about twice. Every time, they filled the plate with tomato sauce and add only one spoonful size of egusi. It almost borders on fraudulent. I called and the restaurant essentially screamed at me.

First off, let me start by saying “AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COST”. A guy picked the phone when I called was the e rudest ever! Bro, you work for a chop bar with 3.6 rating, calm down. Food is horrible. Worst place ever! Bro save your money. Your food is bad, the least you can do is respect those who call you. I’m going onto other apps to leave my review. Worst restaurant ever. Who ever was handling calls at 7:00PM on July 9th should be fired. That guy is too rude

Ordered jollof rice and it was so burnt it wasn’t eatable. It left the worst taste of burnt in my mouth from one spoon. I called the restaurant and all I got was sorry. I’m so disappointed in their customer service

The food is extremely tasty and very filling. I’ve ordered here three times with my boyfriend and we haven’t had a bad experience. Plenty of Nigerian drinks and snacks to choose from too. Definitely a bit pricier than a halal cart for a student but the food is honestly worth the price when you want food that tastes home cooked.

The eforiro and fish with semo was finger licking good. Dolapo herself was so kind and greatful as I chose to patronize her. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Just be sure to read the signs regarding parking from police in the city of Newark

The meat in the egusi had a gamey taste to it so unfortunately I was not able to enjoy it, the actual soup wasn't terrible. I also ordered meat pie, it taste old like it was frozen and they over heated it . Some parts were hard and dried out
