The best tacos in Passaic County the wait is a little long but it's worth it. Tacos were amazing also inexpensive! I always get chicken and steak tacos.

This place is horrible....we are facing such difficult time with the covid virus and it seems like people don't think or don't have an idea of how bad it really is...I went in today to get food and the sign on the door says not to go in without a mask....the cashier was very nasty and just kept saying they were busy....as I payed for my order a man came in without a mask asking for the bathroom....the cashier directed him there and when he came out he put his hands over the counter where the food gets checked before handed over to the costumer....he went under the protective shield they installed and grabbed the sanitizer for the register and then placed his hands on his face over his mouth and on the counter again....I was gonna give him an extra mask but instead I asked for my money back....the cashier told me she couldn't return the money cause I had already paid so I told her about the man I saw and I was not comfortable getting food form there after that....she said she didn't see who it was but I insisted on getting my money back and then the guy came in again after having a smoke and again with no mask....the cashier said to him "Jonathan" this lady is having issues because you are not wearing a mask.....So i looked at her and said I thought u did not know the guy!!!So I told her I would never go back there and I told the other costumers to rethink about getting food after that.....I work in the ER and i see people die every day from this virus....it is not to be taken as a joke or carelessly specially in a restaurant...there are policies to follow and safety precautions that can save your life.....don't be ignorant and stupid and think because you know the person they don't carry the virus.... everyone is at risk....be mindful about other and put on your f****** mask....

A hole in the wall with delicious tacos! My go to order is al pastor tacos and chorizo tacos. Quick service for pick up and if you're dining in the atmosphere is like any other busy restaurant.

AH-MAZING TACOS! Their tacos al pastor are the best ones I've ever had. Their guac is also extremely delicious! What makes this place even better is that their tacos are only $1! Where else can you find good quality tacos for that price?!!

I started coming here a few months ago and I love it. I always get tacos when I come, except for once I got chicken quesadillas. My favorite tacos by far are chicken and al pastor, both with everything on them (what other way is there to eat tacos?) and the al pastor are great with pineapple too. They're wonderfully seasoned and a decent size, they also come with lime slices and radish, as well as the two different hot sauces. And the best part? They're only $1 each. My friend convinced me to try their chicken and cheese quesadillas one time, and I did not regret it. The quesadillas are filled with flavor and the shell is perfectly fried so you get a nice crunchy texture eating it. These come in at $7.50 for 3 (they're about double the size of tacos). I also enjoy getting a horchata whenever I come to a taco place. They make this really good here too, but at $5 for a large, I might skip this next time I go. For parking, you'll probably have to park a block or two away as it's a busy street and this place gets packed on the weekends and nights. If you come and there's a wait for seating, don't worry, there are other places nearby for tacos too. A plus of this place too is that the decor is nice, it's colorful and lively. Tl;dr: You could go to some random bar advertising "$2 taco Tuesdays! $5 margaritas," with inauthentic tacos, and not necessarily all that flavorful OR, hear me out - you can come to Passaic and go to Mexico Deli or one of the other taco places around there and get real, delicious $1 tacos.

Mexico Deli is currently my favorite spot for Taco Tuesday! Except you can go any day because the prices are $1.00 or $1.50 per taco, depending on which one you get. The space is small, and decorated in a kitschy Mexican theme. Fortunately the staff speaks English, so no worries about placing an order. I've gotten the lengua, tripa, cabeza, oreja, and buche tacos. I especially enjoy interesting cuts of meat, and all of these are still at most, only $1.50. They're served with cilantro, onion, radishes, and lime on a double tortilla. All the meats were cooked to the proper texture, though some were a bit under seasoned. But that's why there's plenty of salt and salsa on the table. I especially like their salsa verde, though the rojo ain't bad. Parking can be annoying, but the food and prices are worth the trip.

Finally found some good authentic Mexican food! Prices and portions are more than fair. Food was great. I had the Arranchera and two tacos, one tripe, one chicken. I also ordered fresh Jamaica, which was also delicious, not too sweet, all ingredients balanced perfectly. So glad an aquaintance of mine mentioned it. Thank you Jake!!! Next time I am on my limited lunch though I will take his advice and order ahead because they do get busy, and for good reason.

My favorite go-to spot. Definitely recommend it for those who love authentic food and you can't go wrong on their $1 tacos either!! Restaurant is really nice inside! If you're in a hurry, I do recommend calling in your order first to avoid the wait in person.
