A lot of variety of food, everything that the Dominican eats, rice, mangú, puree, yucca, chicharrón, stewed chicken, and what I ate, delicious pig ears, with sour and spicy lemon. The only thing that wasn't very good were the beers, they weren't cold and the weather outside was 10°C, outside it was better than the beer, but after that everything was excellent. I liked the place.

The food is delicious! Excellent flavor, quantity and price. The disappointing thing is the attention, not at all friendly, and the person who serves you even seems like a despot. The place is comfortable, it could improve.

El pernil y el pollo empanisado es delicioso pero el servicio es terrible. Desafortunadamente no conosco otro citio en Newark que siempre tenga comida lista para vender (Dominicana)”Fresca”. Si no fuera por mi novia nunca volveria a comprar aqui. Si eres mujer te atienden con una actitud como si le estorbaras. I was actually surprised at them not having hair nets on today because they usually do unless they just got their hair done - But on another note the lady who helped me literally rolled her eyes at me after I turned to ask my girlfriend if she wanted a small portion or big. She got frustrated that I was translating for her because 9/10 of the women working there don’t know English and that’s ok (I don’t mind).. the attitude is unnecessary- I’m not asking you for free food. If working in the food industry they need to learn that good customer service can provide them more business and tips since that’s all they care about. I’ve been here at least 10 times in the past year and every single time someone different helps me I get excited hoping I will have a good experience. (1) thing I will say is do not get their tostones lol. But go for take out and avoid the disgusting attitude from the lady in the picture
I waited 20 mins for my order to be taken. As waited I noticed people came and went as I stood there. A woman finally took my order and I continued waiting. Then the customer behind me ordered his food and immediately got his food, I then told them I had been waiting for 25 mins then just left without the food. Not sure if it was discrimination or just flat out poor customer service but either way I do not recommend.

1 star is being generous, this is hands down the most atrocious Dominican restaurant I’ve ever been too. Idk how it even has 4 stars. I’ve been here 7 times getting something new each time and nothing is good. Things are either too salty, bland, raw overcooked or just plain terrible. Anywhere else I’ve been the food has been decent but this is definitely a horrible restaurant. Service is decent other then the ladies dressing provocative
