I live near Rutgers, New Brunswick, and come back to Newark for Elm Street BBQ. Best tasting BBQ chicken and ribs! Also, the picadinho is very good. Not a large fancy eat-in restaurant, but you go there for good food and not ambiance. The restaurant is also BYOB,
Spare Ribs ($24) - Portuguese style Ribs with Fries & Seasoned Rice. They gave you so much sides that it's wrapped into a large to-go foil container. This was enough to feed 3 people minimum. The ribs're alright - they're cooked nicely but can use more seasonings. Rice's delicious, definitely recommended as your side.

If anyone is looking for some BBQ chicken and ribs, this place has tasteful rotisserie chicken and ribs. I'm a fan of chicken, and I love this place! Looking for parking is a bit difficult, so I just pick up and go. They are really quick once you order.
