We made reservations for Mother's Day. The restaurant nt was really crowded, but I had reservations so I didn't wait no more in about 5 minutes to be seated. The food that this restaurant is always excellent never disappoints.. I was surprised that even though the restaurant was crowded my food still came out in a timely fashion. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Nice restaurant in the heart of Newark NJ, with great Spanish food and service. Food portions are large so you can share as well. Nice Ambiance, feels like Spain a bit and have valet parking, which is a plus for Newark. A definite MUST try.

From the moment you are seated, you are well taken care of! A complimentary salad was swiftly served (and this is no ordinary house salad!) Drink orders were taken...we ordered a pitcher of red sangria and it was delicious! So good, that once finished, we ordered another. You are also served complimentary bread, olive oil and delicious olives. We ordered 2 entrees for the three of us, shrimp in green sauce and chicken piccata. Both were absolutely delicious. You are given rice, vegetables and potato "chips" as part of your meal. We ordered one dessert to split between us but you are also given fresh, warm crispy churros with chocolate sauce. Amazing! Service was outstanding, food was wonderful and such a value for what you get. I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!

Everything was great. Starting with the free valet parking that was very helpful on a busy Easter Sunday. The service was very good. The food was fantastic - sangria, garlic shrimp, paella, short ribs, mariscada verde, desserts. Great family dinner with a birthday celebration added in. Everybody enjoyed Fornos of Spain and we look forward to going back.

WOW!!! To be honest, the last time we were there, after regularly going for years, my husband was not happy, to say the least, so we hadn't gone back for some time now. But, after giving it another shot last night, I must say...FORNO'S has COMPLETELY REDEEMED ITSELF!!! Like I said “WOW!” Their huge bible of a menu has returned! Which to be honest, we're missed! And what a menu! And, by-the-way, may I say SEVERAL menus! Ha, ha! Menus with specials! Menu with added specials! Menu of specials with specials! Special cocktails and cocktails menus! Special treat- an individual dish of a beautiful and delicious salad - meaning per person; not per couple as was the usual fare of the past! Wonderful! Perfect table. Noise level: just right. Service was good. Most importantly, we were not rushed. Means a lot when you was to savor -not only the food- the moment. Thank you FORNO'S for quite a delectable, lovely and memorable evening. I go here every year for my birthday because it's my favorite restaurant. Yesterday I had the Seafood paella, my wife had the prime rib, my daughter had the shrimp and garlic and her boyfriend had the chicken paella. Everything was excellent, as usual. The service was good and the Sangria was fine. I'll go again next year.
