I go to this location all of the time because they have a great skinny chicken salad. However, the service is absolutely horrendous. Today (1/23/2024) I arrived at 6:30 PM and there was one employee behind the counter. She acknowledged me and asked if I could wait because she was behind on the pick-up orders. I specifically stated that I would not mind waiting so long as they actually had the ingredients for the skinny chicken (I’ve visited the location in the past when they ran out of ingredients). She stated “yes, we have the skinny chicken.” I patiently waited for an additional 20 minutes until a second employee emerged from the back and asked me for the order. The first employee stated that I ordered a skinny chicken. The second employee asked if I wanted white or brown rice. I was confused because the skinny chicken comes with quinoa (I don’t eat rice). She then stated that they are actually out of quinoa and can’t make the skinny chicken with the listed ingredients. The fact that I waited nearly 30 minutes just to be told that they actually did not have the ingredients when I very explicitly asked that from the beginning of the long wait is ridiculous. The food is generally good but they need to do better with staffing, communication and keeping key ingredients prepared.

My boyfriend and I are visiting from Kansas and he is celiac so we decided to try this place because of their gluten-free options. I've never really eaten Pokey so I was planning on going to Taco Bell afterwards. I ended up trying the California roll Bowl and was blown away! The sauce they use is delicious and I literally couldn't stop eating it! Zee made our food and was super friendly and helpful in customizing our smoothies. Give this lady a raise ? also bring a location to Wichita KS. We'd love to have you!

I wish there was on in MD!!! My daughter’s college campus is near and since I was visiting I like to try different açaí bowl places when out of town. I got açaí and kale base, extra peanut butter, the works. What I absolutely LOVED was the layering. Omg and the granola on the bottom just ? ?. I went two days in a row while in town lol. I have been trying bowls from all around for a while now and this place is at the top of my list, stepping over one of my favorite hometown places ?. It is what it is lol! Great Açaí bowls!

I recently ordered Fresh Coast to satisfy a poke craving, and they did a pretty good job! I ordered a build your own bowl with salmon and ahi tuna with sriracha aioli, spicy ponzu, and a variety of toppings. When I picked up the bowl, I was excited because it looked stuffed to the brim. However, when I got home, I realized that it was so full because of the tons of rice and toppings like carrot or cabbage that they packed in - the fish scoops themselves were small, and I didn't feel that they were an adequate proportion for the amount of rice that was there, much less the other toppings. Quantity aside, the fish was fresh and tasted good, especially once the sauce was thoroughly mixed into the bowl. The veggies were also fresh and tasted great. I picked up my order late at night, so the restaurant itself was quiet and clean, and pickup was quick and efficient. Overall, Fresh Coast satisfied the poke craving, and I'm planning on stopping by again - it just might be necessary to spring for another protein scoop instead of considering it an extra.
