The food here is exceptional especially considering the prices and portions, but I’m incredibly disappointed in an experience I had. Was planning a lunch and came to Newark to place and pick up a large order around 11:30 on a Sunday to find all of their doors locked even though they list that they open at 11am. I called multiple times to no answer even though there were people in the restaurant. They didn’t even open the door to come talk to me. From the closed door I was trying to tell them they have 11am listed and they were telling me 12 and shrugged as if saying ‘I don’t know what to tell you’. I would have appreciated they actually come talk to me and acknowledge the incorrect time on their google info instead of brushing me off as an inconvenience as if I erred by going there to early.
Advice: fix your google listing to show the right time to avoid customers showing up early for no reason. Saves face for you and time for the customers.

Great lunch with a fantastic price, the best in all town. A Cocido( assortment of difenrent meat with sausage and a lot of veggies), fresh, perfect and gigantic portions for 15$ , is a real jewel , Bruna the Barmaid perfect and proffesional. I will comeback soon for another fantastic experience.

A simple dish for one person took over one hour to get ready, it happened on monday, they were almost empty no customers neither delivery orders, I could count a total of 3 tables, incluinding me, it is unbeliveble. Food is fine, I like it but still I wouldn't go back to any place that takes over 1 hours to bring the food to my table.

Just stopped in for a quick beer on a teacher training day lunch break. Thus place had really friendly staff and smelled amazing. If they ever send me back to Anne Street for training I am having lunch here. Thank you!
