Decent dirty water dogs. Like everything else prices, have gone up. I had one with chili, raw onions and mustard. Chili has beans. Also had two with mustard and kraut. My friend had three hot dogs as well. Six hot dogs and one drink came to almost $27. After I was finished eating, I tried a sample of the hot onions. They have a unique flavor. She uses franks red hot sauce and other ingredients. Tasty. I will definitely come back here.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and was surprised to see 2 chili dogs with mustard and a can of soda the counter person tried to charge me $12.49! When I said keep the soda, the CP said don't worry, keep the soda and charged 10 bucks. But I still threw in a buck tip.Thinking 5 bucks a dog and no steamed bun with a lukewarm dirty water dog is pretty steep. No menu posted with prices shown?Maybe it was the out of state plate. Something felt fishy?Turns out I lived in the community 22 years before moving and I was on my way to visit my family, where my family had just won a tricky tray coupon for this place, with a menu and prices!SNAGGED! $2.75 a dog and a buck fifty for a can of soda with a filthy top!Hope you treat the locals better than you treated me!

Came across this shack while on a trip to Pennsylvania. The food was great and cashier was very nice. Would visit again

Stopped by on a drive. We were so disappointed the "HOT" dogs were anything but hot. Bun was cold and almost stale . You really have to wonder about a hot dog place that serves cold dogs... incorrect temperature of food products is a safety issue.. makes me question all of their procedures ..storage ..cooking temp etc. Threw it out.... Do not recommend at all!

my grandma and me would walk down the street sit on the park bench get a few of Tony's best hot dogs with sweet onions or there Chili Cheese dogs then take my fishing pole and walk down the steps to branch brook park and do some fishing this was back in the 70's I stop by there every now and then when I'am in the area brings back old memories of when I was much younger.

I have often found that particular hot dogs will stand out in one particular topping. I would have to say that that particular standout topping item at Jay Cee's Hot Dog Shack would be their hot onions. They have a nice little kick to them and are flavorful, as well. Service is good and the atmosphere is fun and colorful. All in all, a very positive experience.

Mediocre at best. Service is ok, would be better if they paid attention... kept repeating myself and they still got it wrong. was there twice within a month and both times were out of my menu selection. way too expensive for a hot dog, but I've paid more...

Best tasting hot dogs with the mustard and hot onions , worth the ride if you got the time.

Haven't been to the truck in close to 7 years, and it still tastes the same! Great mustard, the chili cheese dogs are phenomenal, and it's amazing to watch the masters at work!

I've been going here since 1983! Great late snack- a dirty water dog with chili, or sauerkraut or even their hot onions. I've taken my wife and kids there for decades too! Only wish they still had the Chocolate Cow drinks like the old days but Yoo-Hoo is okay as a replacement. Reasonably priced & can get them all the time! There is never a bad time for a hot dog or 3!

Decent hotdogs, bread was a little soggy from sweet peppers & onions. Location easy to find, ultimately a good quick grab lunch.

These are the most small skinny hot dogs served on a cold bun and higher priced than in the city . Any condiments other than mustard or ketchup are extra . The dogs are so small you hardly taste them as they are over powered by the ice cold bun . NYC style dirty water dogs are served on steamed buns or at least warmed buns . Mostly I tasted cold bread , I don't be back .
