Indeed the best. Her ayamase is a keeper, arguably the best in the entire town?????
I called around 8:30pm to confirm if they had what I wanted and was assured it would be ready. It was my first time coming here so I wasn't sure what to expect.Customer service was amazing and the Jollof had all the Hallmark of a party Jollof. The Jollof was the best I've had in New Jersey and I will definitely be back to try other things on their menu.
If you ever want to try African food, definitely check this place out! My boyfriend and I go every chance we get to order the spinach stew with fufu! So delicious! They’re definitely the best African restaurant in Newark!
This is the best African restaurant in newark . The food was worth the price I paid. Apart from a little miss communication , which was completely my fault . I definitely recommend. The amala was bomb af!!!! . I 200% recommend
When running a business you need to be honest with it. How can you sell soggy white rice in place of ofada rice after asking you that I needed ofada rice. If I needed to eat white rice I would cook it in my house. I would not recommend this place and if you find yourself here, make sure you double check your order before leaving.
The food is delicious and easy to the stomach. Best Nigerian food so far in my experience.
Best Nigerian Caribbean restaurants in Newark. Tasty food at its best
As a African American Black Man...I am disgusted. This is a Nigerian restaurant...I typically try to spend my dollars on black businesses.. walking into this place hurt my heart. I took my tinder date here and received the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They told us they had no food other than yellow rice then just stared at us..he didn't even look at me when he spoke..utter trash...I except better from melanated people
Omg, this place was so much fun. Momma made the experience so worth it. She's so nice and she provided great hospitality. When it comes to the food, omg it is the bomb. The food had so much flavor and it was so so tasty. Everything was cooked and made to perfection. Momma even took a picture with us. If you guys are ever in Newark, you must stop by this restaurant, I guarantee you will absolutely love it. This place is the best African food I have ever tried.
They are taking restaurant to next level

Average place, the issue is you'll be smelling like food immediately you step out of the place, I guess their ventilation system is bad.
1st time here, they serve large portions, great tasting food.Lovely people
All in all the food was really and meat was extremely tender. I’ve tried many different places when it comes to fufu and egusi and this place so far has been consistent with everything besides the portion of the actual soup itself. I got alot of meat but not enough of the actual soup. It was mostly oil.
Ravioli and pizza! ?
I love they customer service I live right around the corner I’m always running to their restaurant
