I brought two large pies today I did not like the pizza at all. The pizza was crust was very powdery, rough and hard to chew its dry doesnt have enough tomato sauce and not very flavorful.

Close by both NJIT and Rutgers Newark, it great to get off campus. Seemed pretty clean for a busy place, there was nothing I found concerning. I only had the pizza but was good. Slices were fine and a fresh pie was very good.Update: So the day I wrote this we ordered a half-plain, half sausage and pepper pizza. What did they gave me? Half sausage, the other half peppers. The kids were NOT happy. Please try to do better!

I'm quite surprised that the ratings are so poor on here. When I was living in Jersey, Giovanni's was my go to pizza joint. The vegetable pizza was one of my favorites and of course you can never go wrong with a classic cheese pie. I'm from New York so I do consider myself to be a pizza snob. I never ate inside, I always brought my food home. I can't complain though, I have had nothing but good experiences.

The young woman that takes your order is highly unprofessional. I told her she gave me two slices of pizza when I only ordered one and she became very hostile. I asked her why is she getting mad with me and her exact words were "you're not my man boo boo so why would I get mad with you?" Never going back.Save your money and dine elsewhere.

Staff was great. Very professional and polite. Rest rooms and dining areas were clean. Pizza was made with fresh ingredients. I ordered a large olive, mushroom and pepperoni pizza and I was very satisfied with the final product. I definitely recommend this place. Great job to the team.
