First time trying and it was good and tender .

The rice and peas with oxtail really missed the mark for me!the flavor just wasn’t there, and the oxtail was soft but not tasty. Definitely not what I was hoping for. That said, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was nice, which made the experience a bit better. Just wish the food matched the vibe.

Great spot with amazing Jamaican food—probably the best around! In the winter, you have to try their delicious soups. You know the food is legit when the staff has that classic no-nonsense Caribbean attitude—it’s part of the charm! Just a heads-up: this place gets a lot of love from the local Caribbean community, so it helps to know what you want before you step up. No time for hesitation when the flavor’s this serious.

I usually go to the Golden Krust location in Union, where I’ve always had a great experience. However, I decided to visit this location because it was closer to my salon and, being pregnant and hungry, I couldn’t make it to my usual spot. While the food was fresh and tasted good, the customer service was absolutely horrible.

The staff was incredibly rude and took their sweet time serving customers. To make matters worse, one of the staff members skipped me twice! I would have understood if someone else had been ahead of me, but that wasn’t the case. The lady serving even told another staff member that I wasn’t next when I clearly was. It took the person behind me stepping in to point out that I was next in line.

This experience was extremely disappointing. I came here expecting the same level of service I’ve experienced at other locations, but I won’t be returning to this one.

I am finally satisfied that I have another place to eat some of the finest tasting Caribbean Food in New Jersey. Once twice a month for me. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I be cheating on my diet.🤭

If I can give 0 stars, I would. The service there is terrible. It’s seems like they are only good to other Jamaicans and not anyone else. That’s discriminatory. The workers have a nasty attitude and the food is not good. They need to hire new people or something because if they don’t, the places will get shut down sooner or later. Why have an attitude, when you could just serve the food and go on about your day? I will never come back here.

Staff is very unfriendly, when it's time for you to order you are stared at until you tell them what you want. They don't even say "hi what can I get for you" ...if I was a man they would be very nice and courteous though....... Employees need to learn how to be friendly with ALL customers and fix their faces. You can see the attitude from a mile away as if people coming to beg them something........Food is ok at best....

Good food. Friendly staff. I used to love ordering their bubble tea. I stopped ordering there cause the ice machine needs to be cleaned regularly. It was evident of this floating in my cup after the ice melted!

They went from great in all respects to very poor in all respects. I don't know what happened but if they didn't change owners, they certainly changed cook. Food certainly doesn't taste the same. Won't go there anymore!

Best Jamaican food I’ve had in long time reminds me of my vacation in Jamaica with that authentic amazing taste I would definitely recommend the fried fish extra gravy w rice and beans
