Their food is definitely not what you would expect from a sushi place. The combination of flavors is unique to be kind. Do not order the calamari as it was the worst I have ever had. And that's not good being they are a sushi restaurant.Service was lacking attention for sure. People would rather be on their phones or tablets or talking to the other staff members than paying attention to customers' needs.That atmosphere was ok. It was very loud as it sounded like 5 kids running and jumping around upstairs.

The food is delicious on good days. I can say it’s the best spot in Newark for Brazilian sushi and the waiters are nice and attentive. However this is not the first time I go there and the place is freezing. I had my two coats on. Very uncomfortable. Customers well being is not a priority. The sushi was so cold as if taken out of the freezer before serving. Lastly, They will still charge you the same and apply tip even if service isn’t up to par and regardless of party number. FYI (TIP= To Insure Prompt Service) meaning not an obligation.. instead they should change it to service fee since it’s automatically applied on every bill without informing the customer. At the end of it all they didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience. So there are pros and cons like anywhere else. If you really love sushi and want to be in and out sure this place can work for you. But if you want this place to be a special date or something of the occasion. You might leave dissatisfied for the $$$ you will leave behind.
Service is horrible. Tall blonde server is VERY rude and disrespectful. We waited 30 minutes for 2 Malibu Baybreeze and 1 whiskey with 1 block of ice. When this server came to the table, she took my friend’s whiskey cup and didn’t even give him a fresh cup let alone a fresh block of ice, she just refilled his cup and threw his cup on the table … UNPROFESSIONAL.The sangria was bad, something was off. The food takes long to come out, you forget what you ordered.Place is nice but we will not come back.
