My buddy used to come here and tell me that this was the only place he liked in the area. I didn’t see the appeal at the time, but I recon he had his reasons. Unfortunately I haven’t heard from him since before COVID. Bless his soul because he was a good person. Anyway, I hope this place is still around so I can try it one day.

The owner is very nice. I purchased a fish sandwich and a chicken combo platter. Food was okay at best. I can’t say it was too bad, but it could be better. definitely reasonable pricing.

Been around for over 100 years and now I know why. I’ve never felt more instantly at home so far from home as at Hyurks. Taken care of like I was one of their own children, the woman behind the counter made sure I went through the rest of my day smiling.The door would open and the owner knew their names, their owner and how thier weeks been going. The Taylor ham was unmatched. I could scarf 12 of those down in a sitting and die happy of high cholesterol. If you get a chance to go here please do.
