The food was excellent, and the service was exceptional. My waiter was an older, distinguished man who took very good care of us during dinner. I recommend this establishment for the food and the service.

A memorable Portuguese culinary experience in every detail. The restaurant has ample parking and the locale is clean and nicely decorated. They have an assorted and well priced menu that offer something special for everyone. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and multilingual (Portuguese, Spanish, English). They are particularly well know for their Paella and Sangria. Whether it’s a dinner for two or a group of 12 or more, the service will be equally exceptional.

Visited this restaurant during a trip to Newark, and it went to my list of recommended places when traveling. Great food and big portions, friendly staff, wonderful ambiance, great for families or for a date. Really enjoyed our time there.

Not exactly my type of restaurant in terms of the vive and the decor but the food is good. I was there with some friends, I ordered the seafood combination and man, don’t be fool about the size, the plate was huge, four people could easily eat it. Four starts because of the price/amount relationship and because of the staff, very friendly. The calamari was overcooked though :(

OH EM GEE! Had the grilled octopus, so much food and the garden salad was also delicious! The flounder stuffed with seafood my Esposito ordered was amazing, will have that next time!

Had the seafood for 2 and was very disappointed. The presentation of the plate was a mess. Appeared as if they just dumped whatever seafood was laying around in the kitchen on a platter. The calamari looked like onion rings and was hard and rubbery. The photo on the right is from another restaurant in the same area. Do you see the difference?

People super friendly; I have been coming here for 40 years and the paella is the best I have had of all the places I have been to, around the world.

When you walk in from the restaurant you are greeted with flies and fish smell but once you seat yourself and see all the families and couples enjoying their delicious seafood dishes you feel good. The 3 of us enjoyed this seafood platter because it looked so good on the table next to us. The rolls are also delicious, tastes like it was freshly baked. My friend who had been there many times before told me about their fresh bakery close by. So no wonder the bread was so good.

Time changes things no matter where you go. I went to Iberia’s looking for excellent sangria and rodezio. They no longer serve rodezio the old way, sliced from swords, but the plate of assorted meats was awesome! The sangria was also fantastic! The service also rocked! A must place to visit!

Loved this place!! This was a spontaneous and ohhh so delightful treat. We chose to celebrate a special bday dinner here after traveling nearly all of Ferry street. The aroma with draw you in from the street. Outdoor seating was truly lovely. A great ambiance at sunset. The service is definitely not short in any area. My waiter was very sweet & there for any needs. I thought it was cute that a chair was taken over as we were seated for my “pocketbook”. (Prices were unexpectedly reasonable for the date) Live Spanish toned entertainment covering the classic hits of the past. And the Portuguese/Spanish style food was outstanding-We had leftovers the day after!! Good for family, small parties and especially date-night. We will Definitely be back.

After driving for almost five hours from Massachusetts to NJ we wanted to go to Titanic Restaurant before going to Ricardo Arjona’s concert. This restaurant is permanently closed. We drove around looking for a Portuguese restaurant. Some of them didn’t have a parking. We asked a guy on the street if he could recommend a Portuguese restaurant and he recommended Iberia. It has an ample parking but you have to pay $10.00.(Make sure to carry cash). We ordered shrimp cocktail for an appetizer. Shrimp were big and tasty. Our paella was delicious and the portion was more than enough for two people. It was loaded with shrimps, clams, mussels, scallops, chorizos , chicken and a good size lobster. The prize $36.00! I ordered a Sangría and it was absolutely delicious! The service was excellent! We would love to go back!

Excellent service and very good food.We had dinner here on Tuesday evening based on the Google reviews. We had an excellent waiter and it’s a really cool location. They have several dining rooms and even an amusement park of some sort in the back.I thought the food was very good. The steak was cooked correctly and the rice/chips were interesting. My buddy said the short ribs were on point.
