Terrific food and a lot at reasonable prices, been going here since I was a little boy with my father..
Great food and a real fun experience. Staff is so attentive. Great Place to celebrate a birthday!
Lovely, comfortable outdoor seating with live music! The food is great and service, too!
Very good nice restaurant te sangria delicious
I have been here on multiple occasions and the food and service were always impeccable . Highly recommend this Portuguese restaurant to anyone .
Great food! Best paella
Eat here all the time when in Newark. A Prudential favorite and for all the right reasons. Portions are very large and can easily spilt a dish. All seafood and paella is terrific. Skinny home made potato chips are delicious. Love the white or red sangria by the pitcher. Caramel Flan to end the dinner is the best.
great food, service as nd very clean
The food quality and quantity is ok. There is no excitement about the food. But the service has room to improve. In the website they close at11pm but whe I went there at 9:30pm. The waiter said the restaurant is closing. Most of them do not understand English may cause the communication problems. At that incident, I do not know he misunderstand me or do not get more work for seeing another customers while close to the closing time. End up I went home and wasting my gas to go there.
I found roach in my dishes that was nasty and gross and owner tell me every restaurant has roach seriously??? so I told him I will put it on social media

Food was horrible. Pailha was good for concrete joints. No flavor. Super salty to hide, but perhaps low quality ingredients. Total shi* hole on top of that. They wash the floor with same dirty water with an heavy smell of bleach. How can anyone enjoy dinner with the smell of bleach.
I have been coming to this restaurant for about 12 years now. And I have never been disappointed. The food and service is off the charts. I find it hard to visit Newark and not to stop here for lunch or dinner. I had the grilled jumbo prawns this time and they were delicious. I try something different everytime I go there. My son had the Calamari appetizer and loved it as well.
Used to be one of my favorite spots. Food is starting to go downhill. Very disappointed. Food is dry and tasteless. For the amount I spent, was definitely not worth it.
I am from the Caribbean were our dishes are different this was something new to me and it is one of the best dish I ever eat.
I hosted my daughter’s first birthday party here and it was phenomenal! Their staff is very professional, consistently demonstrated courteous and friendly behavior. Food was beyond delicious!
