I came here for breakfast and recieved the absolute worst service. She was super dismissive and the place was empty. I ordered a a western omelet with beef sausage and cheddar cheese (I don't eat pork). She brought back an omlette with beef bacon and without cheese. I asked how could this have happenend, she gave no answer for it. Also, I asked for a seltzer water before I even ordered food but I never got it. They charged me for cheese I never got. They tried to make it up by offering me pork sausage. At that point I was done.I paid the check to be respectful but I had to leave. I was actually looking forward to coming here's I just moved two blocks away. But stay clear away from this place.Also, when I walked in she got someone else's order wrong as well. The person ordered extra bacon but didn't get it. The waitress is the worst.

The services was really good at this diner, the waiter would check on my table regularly. The food was prepared in a timely manner.The rice was good because of the seasoning coming from the vegetables. However, the ribs we slightly tough, the vegetables were drowned in seasoning, the fries we slightly soft. I prefer my fries crispy but I love fries so it didn’t bother me.Overall, the food was edible but the taste was not the best. I would give them a second chance since I dined at 12-1am in the morning.

Went with my nine year old. The food was good and the server was really nice but it was disappointing to hear members of the staff (or friends of) telling each other racist jokes. Neither me nor my kid enjoyed hearing "why black guys don't do push ups in the gym" or about "wetting a black person's lips and sticking them to a wall." I don't care what someone's personal views are, that's their dysfunction to deal with on their own. It's highly unprofessional and tacky to make jokes like that around a child to whom I had to later explain why the guys in there would say what they said. Especially after at one point he was raving about how great the food was. I just paid and we left. I'll never spend another dime at Ideal Diner again.

The nightclub on Friday and Saturday night or the best
I’m sorry to say but I had a BLT , not much to get wrong you would think , but omg it was the worst BLT I’ve ever had , the owner needs to know about this , and the service was bad because the women there had no sense of urgency , it’s the morning people need to go , it’s a fast pace but she was not moving fast , and I was next to man getting grits and they you flip the play upside down, the grits would probably not fall off , smh , owner please give Newark better service and food , you have a very nice place , very clean and looks like at night it’s a nice place to go have a drink and shoot pool . Thank you

Hey I'm a long customer to your restaurant I haven't been there in about 5 to 6 months and let me tell you today experience was not the same I received every time I came I order 4 orders of home fries with eggs bacon and toast with jelly and butter I didn't receive any condiments all besides a spoon,then when I call I get answered with you have to ask with an attitude I'm a restaurant manager myself fir years please work on your customer service and if a customer ask for jelly and butter or any condiments put it in bag some gk to work and don't have condiments thank you k
