Came to town on a sports trip at park. This place is amazing! Got a chili,cheese,and dorito...and a chili cheese, fried onion. Both were very good. Very reasonably priced, and the service was outstanding. My new "hot dog joint". THANKS!!!

I remember this place since I used to work for Bell Atlantic back in the day, before it switched over to Verizon.Growing up in the Ironbound section and it was Ralph's orange truck at Independence park when I was a kid before that.You still keep your prices low, which helps the rest of us greatly, and I remember the prices before 2000 which let you put away 5 or 6 of them easily.I even had one of your shirts, it was red on white, with the JJ's Hot Dog logo and "eat me" below it. That always got looks when I wore it in the summer down at the shore.

It's a hot dog stand. I ordered from door dash for my fiancé who has decided that hot dogs are pivotal at least once per week. We ordered two. They sent one. When calling to ask for the second hot dog I was met with a rude tone and told to contact door dash. I did. They requested the redelivery of the one hot dog and the guy marked the store closed... if you mess up fixing your mistake is the cost of doing business.

J.J.'s Hot Dog Truck is a long-standing institution on Bloomfield Avenue in the Newark, New Jersey and is still a wonderful place to grab a hot dog or two.I also have great memories of coming here after a night at some long gone nightclubs such as the Dirt Club and Studio One (I guess that I am showing my age here).The service here has always been fast and there has always been something cool about waiting in line at this hot dog truck waiting for your turn to get your hot dogs and enjoy your feast. For me now, there is something nostalgic about visiting J.J.'s Hot Dog Truck and remembering my late night feasts.If you find yourself on Bloomfield Avenue in Newark, New Jersey, I would recommend a visit to this hot dog truck.
