Yeah a lot of these reviews are fake, this location in Newark is definitely isn't a 4.5 rating, the one in Jersey City by the Hudson is!!, but not this one. I was here 2 days ago with my best friend, although I didn't order nothing, she did but I was highly observant,the lines were long yes, due to the popularity of the BRAND, and because they only have one person working but their chicken was very below average, you have that person working the register, touching money without gloves and then putting their hands in the box where your chicken will be, no one has on a hairnet, they're talking and laughing spit flying everywhere on the food, and the food isn't cooked properly, my best friend did offer me a piece once we got home, and after tasting that small piece I can say this chicken did not even taste like jollibee's, I've been going to jollibee's in Jersey City for years, so I definitely know how it should taste, this location in Newark did not taste nothing like it should be, also the girl that waited on me and friend was very rude, my friend literally had to oven bake the chicken in order for it to be done completely once we were home, that's ridiculous and unacceptable, we live in Livingston so there was no way we were going all the way back down there but no one shouldn't have to tear open a piece of chicken to see if it's done or not!! Instead of paying or making fake pages for fake reviews how about you guys step up your game and do what you're supposed to do! Instead of trying to look good on the internet in order for customer draw in.

Chicken tenders were very tiny like the size of a chicken nugget. The fries were cold and still semi frozen. Only thing good was the pie. Workers were nice but very understaffed and they have no idea what’s going on. Will not be back

My family and I tried some Jolibee fried chicken this weekend, and we all agreed it was delicious! The dark meat was succulent and tender, the breading was perfect, not hard or wasn't heavy, and the flavor with or without gravy was sooo tasty! We'll definitely go back for chicken and to try other items!
