Hello Gary, Paris, and Sasha!! Just Fish is definitely my go-to place now to unwind after work or for a peaceful atmosphere on a Sunday afternoon to watch football. The food is 5 stars, and the services are 5 stars. I was served by Paris and Saha. Very friendly and knowledgeable girls. Might I add that they are both beautiful as well. I love the way this team works together to service the crowd as we come in. Sunday buffet $45 GET THERE!! 5 ? ? ?????? Friendly environment!

I was too disappointed. They used no seasoning at all not even salt or pepper. The fish was warmed over like it had been cooked the day before. It was not fresh fish. It was hard and very toughCandied yams were poured out of a can and heated up. They didn’t even add butter, cinnamon, vanilla flavoring. I mean nothing. They did cut up and cook the greens which was barely seasoned. It’s not worth it. What’s the sense in opening a restaurant if you don’t distinguish yourself as a great restaurant. Go somewhere else.

I love supporting black owned businesses and this place came highly recommended. However, I was highly disappointed. I got home, opened my bag and grabbed the forks that was wrapped in a napkin. A roach ran out of the napkin. I threw the food out and I called the business to ask for a refund that I am still waiting for.

Gary and the crew are always welcoming! Free samples have been offered and the food is always on point!!! Atmosphere is fit for date night, brunch, and even a family meals!! I’ve enjoyed all three and was never disappointed! You should try them for yourself.
My man took me to diner here. He loves the fried whiting. I ordered a surf n turf(land and see) first thing was they only had two tables us and another , so they were not busy. Our waitress spent most of the night chitchatting at the bar. We waited forever for everything. Forgot our water , my lobster but mistakes happens. The bad part is the poooooor slow service. And we fought flies off our food all night. Steak was cooked in A-1 sauce. Mac was dry and the potato salad is a huge no for me. We ordered take out from here for years. Thought we would try sit down one nights since they have a new spot that is nice. It’s a no for me.

Oversized portions of food that is “alright”, at best. The greens were “leafy” and mediocre, as were the yams, and the mac and cheese was borderline flavorless and some of the worst i’ve encountered. The whiting and shrimp were decent. Uptowns are also on the steep side at $4.50 apiece. Overall, the nearly $70 I paid between meals and drinks was certainly not worth it. Beyond that, while I was there, a person who’s first language was not english was seeking assistance confirming a DoorDash order and instead of helping him out, the female cashier repeatedly (and rudely) asked him “What’s the problem?!” Very poor etiquette displayed to another customer and contributed to my mediocre experience at this place.

✅The food is good; I ordered baked salmon, yams, and collard greens to go. ⚠️ My only critique is that the greens were a tad saltier than I’d prefer but were well-balanced with the savory flavor of the salmon and candied yams. ✅Oh, and that cornbread - it's real!! Real Good! It was so good that I couldn’t wait to dig in (hence my photos of the food after I started eating?). ?SIDE NOTE: I wish the presentation were nicer (although decent), but I feel that way about most soul food restaurants. ? ✅The service was excellent; the staff was friendly, and my food came out hot and promptly! ?I waited at the bar while they prepared my food, so I didn't see the entire space, but it was definitely nice enough to enjoy a sit-down dinner (indoors or outdoors). Good Job Just Fish!?

I ordered the turkey wing dinner. The pros are they do give you enough food for the price. Now I should've ordered fish/seafood because the name of this spot. Well my turkey wings definitely tasted like their freezer. The mac was ok and my yams had a large piece of the yam peel in it. We'll at least they not can huh. Overall I gave them a 3 because at least they give you enough food but they should make sure their meats are stored properly
