I had the pleasure to eat at Konoz. It is a clean and neat restaurant. The owner is friendly and pleasant. I asked him what he recommended and I placed the order to eat inside. The meat was tender and tasty, the salad was a good portion and trifongo was delicious. I chatted briefly with the owner. It’s a place I would go again when in the area.

I spent 4 days in the area for vacation, We stopped late night(15 min) prior to closing on night and the owner Alex welcomed us with such great carisma as if he knew he us for 20 years ... The moment our party of 6 placed our order it was with such great humor from Alex... was sooo delicious, fast, filling... The next day we called Alex 10 minutes before closing and we called Alex to see if he would wait for us even if it was closing time, He told us come in down I'll wait.... We arrived the location past closing time and he made us again the best Latin 🇵🇷 dishes ever....100,000% recommended... Great atmosphere... Very clean but the best part is the attention of the owner... We had the greatest 2 dinners on our getaway.... Much love to Alex and his wife from

The first two times I came here. The service was exceptional. Food was amazing. However third time which would have been yesterday December 8. I came in service was horrible. No one said anything to me. I was actually ignored which had me flabbergasted. I will never ever come to this establishment ever again!

We stumbled upon this hidden gem!! Food was just like we were walking the strip in PR! Flavorful Fresh and they were not stingy with the portions. We ate and still had food left over which is great because the night still young. We chatted with the owners who were very humble! Place was clean and very welcoming..Music was a whole vibe….I’m happy we don’t need to drive to NY for some authentic PR FOOD… PS ASK FOR A HAPPY PACHA…. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My new favorite restaurant!! After eating here, my family doesn’t even want me to cook anymore 🥹 That’s how GOOD it is! Hands down the most authentic Spanish food we’ve had in a long time.
Alex treated us like family from the moment we walked in. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The appetizers tasted just like my grandma’s—especially the alcapurrias! They were so good I ordered extra to go. The fish fritters were perfectly crispy and delicious.
The portions were HUGE! We loved the roast pork and the shrimp mofongo. My steak and onions were served in the cutest little caldero, and the maduros were sweet and cooked to perfection. And the flan… out of this world!
Do yourself a favor and get a happy passion fruit or mango drink—you’ll be smiling the whole time. And the coquito? The BEST I’ve ever had!

The food was amazing!! My family and I ate here for my mom’s birthday and loved every minute. With great salsa music playing, and the both the owner and workers being very nice! If you’re looking for authentic Puerto Rican food I would come here! We will definitely love to come back.
I can’t say enough good things about Konoz Puerto Rican Cuisine in Newark! I reached out last minute to cater a small party for the Bad Bunny concert streaming, and the owner went above and beyond. He personally walked me through all of my choices, suggested the perfect portions for the size of my group, and made sure everything was delivered right on time.
The food was outstanding and everyone at the party was raving about how good it all tasted! The Churrumba Platter was the perfect starter and set the tone for our Puerto Rican theme. The arroz con gandules and pernil were packed with authentic flavor, just like home-cooked food made with love. What really impressed me was that the owner even called to check in afterward to make sure we were happy with everything, such a thoughtful touch.
Konoz absolutely made our night a success, and I can’t wait to visit in person to try even more of their delicious dishes. Highly recommend for anyone looking for genuine Puerto Rican cuisine and top-notch service!

I was saying wow what a nice establishment food smells amazing untill I noticed the Mexican cook and lady double dip the been spoon the taste test back in the pot I was utterly shocked and disappointed and disgusted you can’t trust no were to eat these days no matter how good the food smells won’t be back
