Really nice spot across the street from the Westin Grand Central. very friendly and efficient service. Had the Spinach lasagna which was excellent. Also tried the soup of the day and the fish of the day and both were huge portions and delicious. Reasonably priced and very comfortable tables and an nice old vibe.

Food was very good to great - the mozzarella and prosciutto special appetizer was fantastic and the risotto, beef carpaccio, pasta with clams, and meat and cheese plate were all very good. Service was friendly if a bit slow. Ambience was nice but note you can intermittently hear the subway underneath.

Nice Italian restaurant in NY. Nice ambience, good food, great unhurried but quick service. Liked this restaurant and would recommend.

I showed up solo close to their closing time, and couldn't have had a better experience. A warm welcome, a fresh salad and a delicious mushroom pizza. Nice decor, nice crowd, good location if you are staying around Grand Central. Will gladly come back.

Ambiance is good, menu is good. Good choices for wine. I had the risotto, which was good. Fried calamari as an appetizer was 10/10. No complaints.

We had a delicious meal, and my sister was able to also have a delicious gluten free meal! Perfect before going to a show!!!

Right on 42 st you can't go wrong here for a classy Italian meal in a beautiful setting. It is only steps from Grand Central.

I really liked this place. The pasta was very good, our party had a few of them and all were made in house and prepared well. Good sauces, breads and olives. Tasty dessert too. The place was lively and buzzing. Our server was high energy and attentive. The place has a nice vibe going with good food.

Nice Italian restaurant with a fairly extensive menu and good service. I do like that my spaghetti is cooked al dente in a proper European way. It tastes similar to the same dish I had in Milan.

Osteria is a fine Italian eating establishment. The atmosphere is very laidback and elegant. Very graceful and stylish decor. The customer service is superb. I had the Fritto Misto which is calmar and shrimp which is actually an appetizer but I ate it and entree. I had a side salad (Caesar, home made Caesar sauce). The appetizer and salad was ample for a meal. Great service and awesome food, what a combination.

Sunday dinner for one; in town for business. Sat right away. Excellent server who was attentive throughout. Started w a bread basket that’s 3 kinds of bread. Nothing wonderful, but fine. Good Caesar salad. Had the bolognese. It was okay. I little bland for my liking. The pasta is homemade but it just wasn’t my favorite. The flourless chocolate cake with ice cream was good for dessert. I was in & out quickly. Excellent service and okay food.

Very nice Italian restaurant. Good choice of dishes. Scaloppine Ai Funghi and salmon alla griglia were both very good. Staff made us feel welcome and were attentive. Well done.

One of our regular lunch restaurants. If you looking for freshly prepared Italian cuisine in a hurry then this is the “ Go To” place. The staff are friendly and efficient. The daily specials are a must. It saves time and often super tasty! I’ve yet to have an average experience here. They’re always on top of their game.
