This gringo dropped into this spot just lookin for a quick watering hole. Found a gem. Food is Portugese, vibe is a blend, locals only.. but that invite strangers. Can't speak higher of this place. Will be sneaking back in very shortly.

The food is pricey and not good... We ordered grilled chicken with spanish fries... and meat medium term spanish fries, we ordered to go, they pack all together the fries, the meat and some sort of salty and vinager sauce ... Result! All the food Salty, the meat was well done even tough we ordered Medium. The fries came flimsy and salty since the sauce was all over...$60 For that price! I was very disappointed... at least I would expect a good piece and well made meat.

Street parking is monitored by a parking attendant (Cuba), just be sure to TIP him! He's there every night watching cars for customers.

I ordered a salmon salad.. The menu had a different price.. I received a higher price on my bill..A bottle water cost me $3.00.. I question the bartender / waitress about the menu price diffential and she did not have a direct answer... It's a very pricey restaurant. I can't see why they can't afford to change that on the menu. IM WONDERINGIf the price was even / ever changed by the owner..?

They change the owner and now is like a gogo place and you see dirty mans with sneakears , t shirt and jeans.
Food was great, the DJ was amazing (they had a live band as well), the only issues I had was with the waitress and parking attendant. I ordered 2 picadillo plates. They were a little pricey but worth the money. When I came back to our table from dancing, our waitress had removed the plate that I paid a lot of money for. When I asked her why she took the plate, she blamed it on my friend, who said that she was not paying attention to the plate and when she looked, the waitress already had the plate in her hand taking away. Then I bought a Birthday cake for my mom to surprise her, and once again, the waitress threw away the box without informing us. We had to squeeze the rest of the cake into a smaller box. They definitely need more staff. We had a party of 20 and had to constantly wait for drinks and food. We had reserved the table weeks in advance.Also, the parking attendant came to our table demanding the keys to one of our guest vehicle. He was very rude and bullying toward my guest. I had to step in between them so as not to witness a fight. All he had to do was ask nicely, could we move the car.Overall, we had a good time, but the service could definitely improve, especially for the amount of money they charge. A water bottle was $6!! They are very pricey. The original lady that we spoke to was nice and helped us out. I would definitely recommend this place, just not the service.Parking: Parking is horrible. They are located on a one-way street. They have a very small parking lot, but once that gets full, you have to find parking on the street. It is located on a super busy street so parking is difficult, especially if you get there late!

Extremely loud could not converse without screaming.Parking: A guy will park your car in a small unpaved lot.... for $10... however it is worth it ..... compared to taking a chance in street parking in a shady neighborhood.
