I give out stars based on what I'd expect and what I get. I needed a place near hotel row at EWR airport, and Brazilian/Portuguese BBQ sounded like a good idea. And it was indeed. Caveats: Don't come here for the decor, ambiance and luxurious service. It's barely more than a burgundy colored cafeteria, with just enough service to get by. Come for the food. Really good, lots of it and very reasonable. I came with 4 adults and 2 kids, and 2 of the adults were from Brazil. The Brazilians ordered the 1/2 picanha, and were two thumbs up about it. The other two adults split a combo of ribs and chicken, both were well prepared and very tasty. And - when all was said and done, the tab was $72 all in (including extra sides and a big gooey chocolate dessert), and we brought home 3 boxes of leftovers. It's not a Michelin Star restaurant, and they don't try to be. It's a place with good eats for a good price, and they succeeded at it.

The food was just OK....not bad, but nothing to get excited about. At the suggestion of the server I had the beef ribs. Not real tender and not real flavorful. The above being said the service was excellent. Multiple servers checked with us multiple times and they were all friendly and helpful.

Food is ok but the menu online and in the restaurant are totally different from what they charge you. Update your menus please, customers don't want to feel ripped off after ordering.

The food is good but the ladies who answer the phone are rude!!. They speak like they dont wanna be at work and that they are in a rush. Thier customer service skills need polishing.
If you drive the Mission Trail stop here. BBQ is the best and their sauces are amazing. The sides are some of the best I've ever had.

I would give this place zero stars. as you can see in the picture this place was not busy! we waited 45 mins no food came out not even appetizers. everyone was getting their food. The waitresses saw that we've been waiting and did not even acknowledge the fact that weve been waiting. I went up to the manager and the owner was there and i told them how we have been waiting. they did not even apologize. We told them we were leaving and they didn't even care. What a waste of time and bad business. I will not be going here or ever recommending this place to anyone! customer service is key! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS DUMP THERE ARE DEF BETTER PLACES!!

After being underwhelmed by the menu I decided to go for a whole bbq sausage [that said on the menu it would come with fries]. The server said it was just an appetizer and it would come as is. I lazily assumed that meant the sausage and the fries were the "appetizer". My family waited for what felt like forever for our food. Watching some GORY movie on the televisions helped with the boredom I suppose. After watching some guy get his legs ripped apart, I receive my plate of only sausage and super vinegary vegetables and I accept that it was my fault for not receiving fries. So I order a side of fries. Twice. I did not eat the sausage hoping to get my fries in a timely manner to eat both together. I end up having to eat my family's fries because the fries took forever to come. By the times the fries got to me my family had already had their last bites of food and my sausage was cold and hard. We asked for a to go box and received only one so we asked for another. And guess what? That never came too!! I always disliked coming here with my family because of the menu but im even more disappointed with the annoying service. Staying home next time.
