Went here for breakfast and we are coming from 35 minutes away just to try their Puerto Rican breakfast and this place did not disappoint what so ever. The food came out fast and hot. We had (which l'II picture) two coffees, oatmeal (avena), ham and cheese sandwich (with the works) and a breakfast platter. This reminded me sooooo much of breakfast from the island. Reading these reviews brought tears to my eyes. My family were the original owners and knowing that our good friend Leo is continuing to keep our N.Newark family happy and full is a wonderful feeling. I love the tru island experience in this place. Reminds you of good old Puerto Rico. Good food and a very humble atmosphere. It's one of the remaining spots here in Newark that makes you want to come in again and eat here.
