I read the reviews before I sent my parents to try out the pies well to their surprise. Their sweet potato pie was mixed with pumpkin pie that was told to my dad about the ingredients. Well, they tried it and they were so disgusted by it. My mom tried to put it back in the oven to see if that will work the next day but for $16 was a waste and they had to throw it away. Whoever put these reviews on here about it was the most fantastic sweet potato pie they ever had it must’ve been a family member or friend because the sweet potato pie was disgusting especially coming from an Ellery couple that has always made sweet potato pies from back in the day that was trying to give this company the benefit of a doubt just to try it because they can’t make them anymore because of age, but this was definitely the worst pie. They ever tasted. I had to put this on their review because I don’t want anybody else to be misled

Excellent!! The little bakery from the past. Grandma's cakes & muffins. When I fought my cousin to lick the batter from the spoons and bowls. Thank you Cathy for the memories ❤️

I’ve been coming here since I could remember lol. Her cookies r amazing the chocolate chip walnut r my favorite! I love her she’s so sweet n her service is excellent it always feels like a piece of home. U get a good ole slice of southern hospitality ?

Sooo, I don't like anything made with apple. However, on two occasions, I overheard folk placing orders for the apply turnovers. Third time was a charm, I ordered one for myself and to my surprise I loved it.. I'm a frequently flyer now lol... and all thanks to Ms. Cathy...

Yes! I've found what I been looking for! A bakery with real flavor! Puts me in mind of the old infamous Wimp's Bakery on 125th st in Harlem. Real southern desserts. I had the pineapple coconut cake, apple cobbler, and chocolate chip and walnut cookies. All were delectable. And, The hospitality was warm and welcoming. Couldn't ask for anything more! Looking forward to trying the sweet potato pie, pound cake, and bread and banana pudding. Will definitely return.

The baked goods are awesome! The staff, Ms Cathy is wonderful. She remembered your favorites.The only negative is parking.
Just enjoyed the oatmeal raisin cookies straight from the oven..Soooo Delish
