I went to a late-night event at Little Tijuana, and it was one of the most disturbing experiences I’ve ever had at a venue. While trying to enter, the security guard became aggressive and hostile for no apparent reason. We were simply asking what the issue was when he suddenly started screaming in our faces, threatening to “embarrass” us and even threatening to beat us up all because he felt the need to “prove a point.”
On top of that, they locked us inside the parking lot and refused to let us either in to the venue or out of the lot. We were literally trapped while the security continued to be unprofessional and aggressive.
To make matters worse, just moments later, a group of men leaving the venue brutally attacked another man right outside. They kicked him in the face repeatedly until his head was busted open. The same security guard stood there and watched the entire thing without intervening. But yelled “walk it off”.
I was so scared and disturbed by what I saw that I had to call the police myself. The lack of professionalism and basic humanity from the staff, especially the security, was appalling.
I would never go back to this place, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values their safety or dignity.
6/27/25 I arrived at this Crap of a Restaurant for R&B group 112 performance. I purchased my ticket on event Brite for $50.. When I arrived there was 4 people on line and I asked security if there's seats still available cause I am Disabled. The staff then orchestrated to give me a hard time for absolutely no reason. Had me wait 20 mins cause I had to keep sitting instead of standing on line, so the owner kept by passing me. Then when he lets me in, he says there's no seats for the show. He said my $50 ticket is only for general entry, despite the only other option on website was $215 for general entry plus meet and greet. I had to call the police and they side with the businesses. They would not refund my money and I had to simply leave because I could not stand to watch whenever the performance would EVENTUALLY start. Clearly A Gimmick and hustle from this establishment.
I would avoid this place. They do a bunch of sketchy stuff. The restaurant is cute on the inside. But they have a bunch of sneaky up charges and forced gratuity. I bought two drinks. One of which was a mock tail. It cost me 60 bucks.
I don’t know where all these good reviews are coming from. It must be AI.
Love the look, vibe and service here! We had the Four Lokos drink flight and a Watermelon Martini. Delish! However, food was okay. We had the elote and loaded fries. Not bad but definitely not on my foodie bucket list and I love Mexican food. Loved the selfie corners and decor. Music was pumping. Loved the staff birthday rollout!
My friend and I stumbled across this place while on vacation on The Union Presents “Blackout” open mic night, and didn’t realize how lucky we got! The entertainment was amazing, the atmosphere was incredible, the food was on point, the drinks were strong and the service was the best I’ve ever experienced. To our waitress, I wish we’d gotten your name, you made our night and thank you for the recommendation for other places after you closed. We will definitely be coming back!!
AMAZING, we held an office party here and it was fabulous. The food tasted delicious and the is beautiful.
The manager Larry answered all our questions and offered great menu options (Including for vegetarians).
