I bought a sancocho paid 12 dollars for it and I got vegetables and 1 little piece of meat and a empty bone , the meat was extremely hard I couldn’t take a bite at all a little disappointed , also i didn’t saw not one Dominican on there is Dominican because they have a flag outside but besides that .
A Saturday at 6:20 am, in my way to Teixeira bakery for brakefast, I saw this restaurant and stop for a mangü. It wasn't ready yet, but the yuca (casaba) with spare ribs didn't disappoint. Everything, from the food to the music to the oatmeal was on point. Prices? A precio de llevecelo (affordable). It was a clean and nice surprise.
I finally got to eat Dominican food in the Ironbound, and they did not disappoint! I got mangu with red onions on top, carne estufado, and rice. It’s really good, served buffet style, and they just opened too! Much love from the Tuga community ??❤️??
