Mr. Burgandy's Breakfast Luncheonette

My brother ordered from this restaurant today and the food is delicious. We (family of 4) ordered two pancakes, home fried, beef sausage platters and two different omelettes and they all were so good. We would definitely order from here again. They also offer delivery.

My daughter & her fiancée took me for breakfast for my first time there. This was their 2nd time & they live in Massachusetts. The food was excellent! The catfish was so fresh! Also the hospitality was amazing. I will definitely come back when I’m in Newark, NJ

This is a hidden gem in the Newark area. A very small, and old place but the food and service was amazing. The food is served hot and made to order. The only downside for me is they didn't serve pork bacon or sausage. Family owned and ran and been in business for over 16 years. Give it a try and don't let the outside or the area distract you.

From the outside, it's unassuming and I accidentally drove past it the first time I went. But once inside, the friendly atmosphere and intoxicating scents took over. Great food at a good price!

Me and my wife came in for a quick breakfast while we're on visiting family.
The service and atmosphere immediately made us feel at home.

Never been to a more friendly place. Like the sign on the wall says, positive vibes only. The food wasn’t the best but I felt at home eating here.
