Wonderful staff and good ambience. It's a great place to start an evening before the Symphony.

Incredibly convenient for attending a show at the NJPAC but not a destination dining location. Service was a little inattentive despite the restaurant not being full. The menu has plenty of options and is sort of upscale bar fare. Food has been better on prior visits and is generally well prepared. The room is loud particularly if there are large parties before a show. All in all, still probably the best nearby dining option before a show. Been to Nico for weekday lunch which was good. The bar was lively before the show and is also really nice for a drink afterwards.

Nico is extremely convenient for attending events at NJPAC. Drinks are fine. Food is average. Expensive but would be ok if food was better. Apps were good. Burgers were well done when asked for medium rare; not even close. Expected a bit better at $29 a pop. Fries were very good. Service was attentive. Noise level was particularly high due to a very large group at the bar adjacent to the dining area. Dining area itself was not noisy. If I return again would stick with apps and drinks.

Karol is an awesome server! She checked in on us at the right times. She is friendly and patient and didn’t forget anything. We hope she is there the next time we come. Chef Courtney did amazing on the wings. Thanks for the Birthday wishes for my daughter. Great atmosphere even for family with young children. The two hosts were very friendly as well. Next I come I will check out the bar. 😊Thank you kindly for a great first visit. 😊

Nice venue for pre-show at NJ Performing Arts Center. The servers were very pleasant and ensured you were able to get to the show on time. Menu is on the limited side, but with a fairly wide variety. Short ribs and shrimp scampi were well prepared. Note, chili flakes added to scampi, so if you cannot take heat, please ask them to omit. The intermezzo crostini with apples and brie was a tasty surprise.

I prepared a celebratory event with both the NJPAC and Nico. Carlos the manager was delightful to work with, creative and thoughtful in arranging a lounge location for 20 people. Our server Brianna was helpful and on top of our group with libations and spacing out our appetizer platters, which were delicious. Drinks were creative and on trend. The ambiance was warm and inviting. My group was comfortable in the center of the bar area. I was able to talk to everyone in my party, the noise volume was very good considering the volume of the ceiling. I highly recommend the location for small and larger size parties, and was impressed with the communication between the NJPAC and Nico restaurant. I was very pleased with all areas for a pre-event celebration.

The service was disappointing from the start. We arrived about 20 minutes before our reservation and asked to sit at the bar for a drink. Although the bar and restaurant were about half empty, the bartender looked in my direction several times but never approached. After waiting about five minutes, he finally came over—only after another guest sat next to me—and asked if I wanted to order a drink. After receiving my drink, we were seated for our 5:15 reservation. Our waitress began the evening attentively, but the service steadily declined as the night went on. By 6:00 p.m., the restaurant was nearly empty except for our table, yet no one checked on us, refilled our drinks, or cleared the table. After dinner, the waitress approached with the check in hand, even though we had not indicated we were finished and intended to order dessert. She asked about dessert, then pulled the check back. When the dessert arrived, no utensils were provided, and the dinner plates had still not been cleared. While we were eating dessert, staff began turning off table lamps and sweeping the floor around us. This was confusing and uncomfortable, as the restaurant's website states that it closes at 8:00 p.m., and it was only 6:00 p.m. Our waitress was nowhere to be found, and the remaining staff behaved as though the restaurant was closing. When I asked another server what time they closed, I was told 8:00 p.m., with the kitchen closing at 7:30—again, it was only 6:00. Overall, we felt ignored and then rushed out, which made for a very unpleasant dining experience.

Katherine our server was very kind, knowledgeable and attentive, as well as the young man who was acting as her assistant server. We ordered a Cesar salad to split as an app and it was fresh and very flavorful. Burger was cooked to perfection, switched the chili aioli for the garlic aioli and was not disappointed. Buttermilk chicken sandwich was also a nice change to a chicken sandwich. Overall price was good, especially for an establishment attached to a theater.

We had dinner before a show service was fast and ok our waitress was cold but the men were friendly. We sat at the bar I had the chicken potpie the seasoning was different than the usual potpie which was good but just a little on the salty side I loved the light and flaky crust . The spouse loved the lentil soup with the beef chucks it was excellent and it ate as a whole meal, my daughter had the margarita pizza she said it wasn’t bad it was just ok but wouldn’t order it again something about the cheese she didn’t like . When I come to another show I will return because of convenience, hot good food , fast service and clean location . No pizza

We there Friday night for some dinner before our concert at The Prudential Center.. we didn't get the bartenders names but both of them were attentive / knowledgeable / professional as they served us. The white cosmo's were incredible! We got the shrimp bruschetta app ( so good I wanted another ) the wings in the special menu I think they were smoked chipotle and the heat and crisp on them were spot on.. my gf got the chicken pot pie and loved it ( $35 for a pot pie I thought was crazy until it came out and I tasted it ) and I got the short ribs ( meaty / tendu and perfect ) I myself have been in the food industry my whole life and this was one of the best overall experiences I've had going out. We'll be back and highly recommend this place!

Our second time eating pre-show dinner. Coincidentally we had the same server both times. Mena was as before exceptional! Charming, friendly and efficient, he was wonderful. The food was delicious. The portions are generous and the cocktails were spot on too. We would return without hesitation. Thank you for having us.

Walked in and the atmosphere was amazing. Stopped in for a cappuccino since I wasn’t really that hungry before a show at the PAC. The servers were a delight and the people there were so friendly. Sat at the bar….. Loved it!

The food at Nico was excellent. My friend and I were there for a show. The entrees were a bit late, but the server gave us two appetizers and offered us something from the bar (which we declined) to make up for the delay. The service was great and we would definitely return.
