NICO is our favorite Newark NJ local restaurant. I've enjoyed lunch and dinner meals with business colleagues. The food is always fabulous. Additionally, planning an upcoming event has been very easy and we anticipate having a great time.

Katherine was our waitress. She was excellent and got our order correct. She was very helpful in answering some questions we had. The meals and drinks were all very delicious and plentiful. We really enjoyed our dinner before the show. We will be back.

This place is very retro and gives a warm fire place type atmosphere especially when you walk in - the menu can use a little more healthier choices, however the margarita pizza was pretty good - very elegant and professional our server Raymond was fabulous. - more of a bar bite lighter fare type menu. - Quality was 4 out of 5. -

I think the food is extremely overpriced for the quality, but the food is good. Just not worth that much. Drinks are very good, service is excellent!

Very great experience. The service was wonderful. Everyone who worked there and came to our table was polite and friendly. The food was very good! The hot honey wings were delicious. If you're going to see something at NJPAC this is the perfect place to eat. You can walk right into the theatre from the restaurant and our waiter made sure our food was ready before the show with plenty of time to eat.

We were there on an early Sunday afternoon, prior to a 6 PM performance. We were the first ones in the restaurant. The service was excellent and the food delicious. This was our first visit and we will be back.

We were disappointed at the limited menu. We had hoped for a brunch selection which wasn't there. Our meal was delivered 2 minutes after after our cocktails and we'd asked that the drinks be served before the meal. Timing could have been much better.

I generally enjoy Nico's. I still did but the meals were not up to par. My scampi was more like Alfredo, the risotto just so so. My cheese cake and cocktail fab. I will consider this a one off and try again, in the past I've been well pleased.

Our server was great, food was delicious. Was able to scan into the event from the restaurant and they gave to go cups to take to the show. Would definitely recommend if you're going to a show at NJPAC.

The food was pretty good, but service continues to be excruciatingly slow especially considering that just about everyone in the restaurant needs to be in time for a curtain. Our dessert never arrived in time and the doors to the theater were about to close before we took our seats. This issue is not new for Nico. No one needs more stress.
