Dollar for dollar, Paramount's Bread City label is the best store bought bread I have ever eaten. It has none of the nasty sweeteners found in other brands. If you are able to buy it the day it is delivered to the retailer, a loaf should last 2 weeks.

Love the round Italian I would get at ShopRite in Hammonton NJ. We bought at least two loaves a week. Why is it no longer being sold there? Myself and numerous other customers are very disappointed. I’m giving 5 stars for the excellent bread. If I could give zero for it no longer being offered at the store I would. Where else around zip code 08037 is it sold?

Just read the article about Paramount in the Star Ledger. 100 years, WOW!I’m obsessed with the semolina, ciabatta and Russian Rye. I didn’t know they use Paramount bread at Town Hall Deli—but now I get why those sandwiches are *so good*Congrats to the Paramount family on an awesome article!PS Love that the author pointed out Paramount is older (and in my opinion, SO MUCH tastier) than other popular NJ bread bakeries LOL

Great bread! Paramount is definitely better than Calandra's Bakery or any other bakery in northern Jersey, without a doubt.
Just bought the Russian Rye from Walmart (who knew Walmart sold authentic-tasting rye bread) - it was delicious. We have been looking for old fashion Brooklyn rye from the 60's - 70's for a long time. The only other place is Russ and Daughters in Manhattan. This bread comes very close to the bread baked in the old Jewish bakeries in Sheepshead Bay. Please update your social media so people know where to buy the bread.

Russian rye bread is excellent.please put a little more caraway seeds.but it is the best rye bread in north jersey right now.Whole foods used to sell a better crustier caraway seed bread,but it is discontinued

What happened to your bread?!? It used to be so good and consistent, but now it’s becoming harder and harder not to find only partially risen, hard, or loaves that are much smaller than they used to be. Today picking through tons of loaves at the store there wasn’t a single good one. Please get it together, your bread was the best around for a while, but it’s getting harder to justify spending the extra money on what it’s become.
