Philly cheese made with ground beef and everything is extra except for lettuce, try adding peppers or onions then it’s $5 extra! Needless to say buyers beware.

Should have checked reviews before ordering. It’ll be almost $30 for a cheesesteak and fries. God forbid you want a vegetable on there. They’ve also made the interesting choice of putting the grill right out front, so you can see how cheaply made it is and know exactly how long it is between paying and having them actually start to make the food.

Didn’t read the reviews until after ordering and really regret it. Ordered a strawberry milkshake that came out as a vanilla milkshake with strawberry syrup on the bottom. My fries came out quick but were cold. Waited another 20 minutes for my sandwich. They seemed to wait to fire up the grill and make the sandwiches until they had about 10 orders. Fortunately we had a long layover. The guys making the sandwiches disappeared for a while when the sandwiches were on the grill. They handed my sandwich to another woman, realized the other was wrong and picked it up out of her container and handed it to me. Yikes. Felt really unorganized, unprofessional and overpriced.

$20 SANDWICH TO CRACKED TOOTH! Do not eat here ever! I had a long flight and a layover so I decided to ignore the bad reviews and give this place a try. I don’t know where they source their food from or what they do but I finish half my sandwich and it was fine. But the other half, I took two bites and there was a small piece of bone in my sandwich. I said to myself “surely that’s just a mistake and somehow it got there” so I threw part of it away and took another bite. BOOM another bone. Now I got a cracked tooth and a dentist visit because of this place. DO NOT EAT HERE!

Philly cheese steak sandwiches are ok but I would not recommend them. Subway makes a better Philly and that is sad. Way over priced and the fries/tater tots are disgusting. Would not recommend. The layout for these grab and go places in terminal c is horrible. No where to sit and eat. No where to throw out trash. Avoid at all cost. Gross!

Ask for a receipt due to work related expense. Told to put email in and would receive it electronically. Never happened and had to make my own receipt. Very rude staff and extremely slow service.

Wish I checked the reviews before I grabbed a sandwich here. Who puts cold, unmelted cheese on the bottom of a Philly Steak & Cheese??? Bland trash. Philadelphians would be outraged. Learn how to cook a sandwich with the ingredients mixed together and melted. Even Subway can do that - at a reasonable price, not this jacked up garbage. If you're going to charge $20+ for a sandwich you don't know how to cook, at least cover it up with some sauce that hides the complete lack of favor.

What I'm talking about is the Philly inside Terminal C in Newark.
Unfriendly and rude staff
I placed the order on the tablet and the number came up... they all disappear from the kitchen in front of me... oh well, it's not a problem, I wait 20 minutes and a box with a sandwich appears at the collection point, I politely ask if it's mine, the staff responds I DON'T I KNOW….
I wait another 10 minutes, I ask again why I didn't want to eat the cold sandwich, they reply again I DON'T KNOW and the person in question doesn't find out.
Finally after 40 minutes they give me the sandwich and since I'm a tourist they take me for a ride thinking I don't understand!
I strongly advise against the place for the service, then you eat the sandwich but you will certainly find better.

Gave me the cheesesteak without cheese, I come to ask for cheese and they insist there is cheese, so I open the sandwich and ask them to show me and they can't see it either. I wanted a new order and the lady yells at me to go to the back of the line and relax when all I asked for is a new order.
