I called the São Paulo pizzeria, asking for the esfirras promotion, and was informed of the price of 22 dollars. I arrived to pick up the order and it wasn't ready. I decided to eat there with my wife and son, and when it was time to pay, I was informed of the new price, $51.14 dollars. This can only be a joke, very unprofessional, an attitude that discourages us, because if I had been informed that the promotion would not be valid at the table, I would have eaten on the sidewalk. I do not recommend this pizzeria. I left very dissatisfied and unhappy with the service. No respect for the customer.

Pizzeria São Paulo serves the best pizza in Newark. My fiancé Gisele and I have been customers since they first opened. The owner Gustavo is just fantastic, provides a wonderful experience and makes each person who walks in feel comfortable and welcomed. The best pizza (in my opinion) is the Chef’s Special (A moda do Chefe) and we go back to Newark just for this pie. The quality of the food never dips and has been a constant since they first opened their door. I couldn’t recommend it more.
Terrible service, I called and asked for an extra large pizza and a small one arrived. I called to ask why, the attendant said she understood, I reaffirmed saying I had ordered extra large. Instead of apologizing or presenting another option, the attendant was very rude and said that I, as a customer, should have confirmed the order. And asked the size again. And he said he understood that it was “personal”. In other words, the customer is obliged to understand how pizza sizes are named. Even though I said twice that I wanted an extra large. I will never order here again Details $30 for a 4-piece pizza

I placed the order at 8:10pm to pick it up and it was estimated to be ready in 45 minutes to 1 hour. The pizza was ready at 10:00. Almost two hours late! The manager or owner gave a terrible justification for the delay.

The lack of professionalism is incredible.
The pizza itself is excellent but the service is terrible. Every time I order (always via the website) it takes a long time for delivery and there is no tracking device. Today when I got in touch to find out about the delivery, the attendant didn't know where my order was and in the end he hung up the phone without answering my question.
Unfortunately it will be the last order, even though the product is very good.

BUYERS BEWARE!! This place has the following: -Bad service -overpriced food -over an hour delay (my case over 1 hour and 30 minutes) Could have let the person know that hey your order is delayed at least. I like to frequent pizza places and I get my buck worth of food! Pizza village for example but never in my life did I think I would paid 45 for 4 slices, 2 juices, and wings. - I can get unlimited soup and bread sticks for less than 30 at olive garden and a nice experience and lower waits too! So disappointed. At least the food could have been better for the prices but it isn't. Best you spend your hard earned money somewhere else.
