I told my friends about this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is tasty and the crew is welcoming and cooperative. Whenever we visit this place we enjoy a pleasing time. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Don't go here on a Saturday, took over a half hour for water. Over an hour and 15 minutes for pulled pork and a burger that was extremely overcooked. I wouldn't serve this food to my enemy. Our server paid no attention to our table, and we had to be served by someone serving other tables.

I would give them ZERO STARS if possible. From out of town. Open until 11 PM tonight. Called 5 times with no answer (not even an answering machine, clearly whoever was there was ignoring me--it rang more than 30 times). Joke of an establishment. Don't waste your time!!!

Now known as Taj 973. A great club space upstairs available to rent for private events and a great sports bar space downstairs.

We went to PJ Ryan's before a game at The Prudential Center that other night to grab a beer. After being there just a few minutes, a patron ran up to the bar and urgently asked if the bar had an AED machine. The bartender proceeded to say no with an attitude, and then after the man ran back into the restroom to provide assistance, I watched and heard the bartender laugh to the other bartenders and say "That was so weird, who is that guy?!". At this point, I informed her what an AED machine was for, as it seemed she didn't know, and that there was clearly an emergency. She looked at me with a blank stare, so I repeated what I had said and she said "Oh my goodness, okay, I will get my manager." 911 had already been called thank goodness, but it still took them a few minutes to get there. A man's life was clearly at risk, and the staff at PJ Ryan's clearly had no idea how to handle it. I was so disgusted to see how this emergency was handled, and will never give them my business again. All establishments should be equipped with emergency medical equipment!!!!!!

Don't bother coming here for food. We stopped here before the Devils game for dinner since it was the only place with seats. Redds and Ale House was packed. We ordered a burger, chicken skewers, and a plain Caesar salad. The menu states the beef is Pat La Frieda which we find very hard to believe. The burger was dry and over cooked. The chicken skewers tasted like rubber. What I think the cooks did was grill the chicken ahead of time and stored the chicken in a fridge so when a customer orders this they can just microwave it. Gross. Then the chicken was drenched in their sauce which was not easy to even tell apart. I ordered the try all three which was J**** Thai, and I think bbq. I couldn't eat it and sent it back. The salad was nothing special so I didn't even finish it. When we received our bill they removed the skewers but over charged for the burger. There are two burgers priced at $10 and the other at $14. We ordered the $10 burger with no additions. I asked the manager about it and his response was that we were most likely charged that price because we added something. All I said was we didn't and he just walked away from me. He was rude and unprofessional. We paid despite the overcharge and just wanted to get out of there. Servers are just ok but the manager just doesn't care for any complaints. I even watched as he was yelling at one of the servers which was again, unprofessional. I'm sorry I wasted my time and money here. Here's to another one star review PJ's! Never again!

Love this place and have made it our regular stop before Devil's games. The loaded tots are spectacular and the chicken skewers are a must have. Wait staff is attentive and friendly. Manager helped set us up with a special event for a group of 16 headed to a game at Prudential Center and everyone raved at the cleanliness, good food and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.

Meh. Went upstairs before a Devils game. Very limited menu (fingers and fries, small burgers), limited selection at the bar - yet somehow still expensive.

The place is very nice for a group of people to hang out and talk or celebrate or even for the food. Prudential Center is right for the games if your going there to cheer or bettl. They even have meals for the kids too. As well as drinks and very delicious food, usually the chicken wings with lemon pepper is what gets my attention the most. They also have grubhub if you want to have it delivered to you.

Devils vs Rangers, Saturday 11/30, the bartender is doing her best but it’s a horrible failure on the part of management that there’s only one bartender on duty at the main bar. Service is between non-existent to slow. Waited for 30 minutes to order beer, never got a beer, so we left.
