I don't usually write reviews on Yelp. But if I can save even one person their precious time and money by leaving this one then it will have been well worth it. Don't be fooled by the cool looking decor and atmosphere. The food is absolutely awful. And for how much it costs, that is truly an offense. Cheap bad food is one thing. Expensive terrible food is another. The dumplings are clearly made elsewhere and microwaved. The ramen has zero flavor. It was hands down the worst airport food I've ever had. The worst ramen I've ever had. It's hard to even call it ramen. The worst soup I've ever had. Quite possibly the worst meal I've ever had in my 34 years of living. Though I will take a moment to say that the service was good and the workers were pleasant. Please, please eat anywhere else in Terminal C and you'll have a much better beginning to your trip.

Cute but overpriced. The seating is very cute and you order via QR code on your smart phone. Service was okay, this model is very impersonal. Ordered an appetizer sampler and my food was cutely piled on a tiny plate: two vegetable dumplings, 2 ribs, and 2 chicken wing pieces. This was $24 with tip. The vegetable dumplings were greasy and flavorless, the ribs were delicious and well seasoned, the chicken was okay. Each piece was about 2 bites of food. If you have a baby appetite or like spending too much to still be hungry, it's a place for you.

Needed a quick bite to bring on the plane, the waitress was super quick and helpful. You order everything online. I ordered dumpling and potstickers. They were delicious, only complaint is the packaging. if they know they're at an airport where people are running where people are getting food to go. They should really consider that packaging. When I opened my dumplings as well as the potstickers packaging. The sauce was everywhere. They didn't even have tops. They just kind of put foil on it so didn't appreciate that.

I have a love of peanuts and ordered a pricey airport salad because of it. It was delivered without peanuts and with a different dressing than the menu stated. At this place you pay ahead when ordering. I asked for the peanuts after the fact and the correct dressing before eating. Nobody could find anything. It wasnt very good. If something is 86 they should alert the customer.

At Newark Airport, I frequently dine at Little Purse Dumpling because the food is consistently good, the atmosphere is nice with good music, and it is rarely crowded. Since it was brunch hour, I tried the vegetable and chicken dumplings. Both orders arrived hot and crisp from the fryer! The vegetable dumplings had a tasty blend of kale, corn, and tofu, not your typical fillings. The portion sizes were good for the price, especially since airport food prices are inflated. I am happy that this option is available because it has different offerings than other restaurants in Terminal C.

Why is this place still open? Do not be fooled by the images. The food is a little overpriced, with no taste AT ALL. Service is bad, rude and unprofessional employees. The only thing good about this place is the atmosphere and setup.

Got the pork tonkotsu ramen. Looks ok but tasteless broth. No pork flavor and taste like pasta water actually.

Stopped at Little Purse Dumpling in the airport as we were looking for a place to eat and sit while waiting for our flight. I really wished I had looked online at the reviews before sitting down here as the terrible reviews are fully correct. The menu is small and you order on your phone which has nice pictures of the food. The food items are all rather expensive even for airport food so I went with one of the cheaper options - the shrimp dumplings. They were like $15 and came out with 0 presentation in a white plastic bowl with the dipping sauce in a small one time use plastic. The dumplings were clearly made off site by a machine and lacked any flavor at all. The portion sizes were small and it was plain old bad. I prefer the Trader Joe's frozen dumplings over these. My partner also ordered ramen and it looked nothing like the image and had 0 flavor. I am not usually one to write bad reviews on Yelp, but this was truly a terrible experience.

My sesame seed bagel had 4 seeds in it. Service was slow, and they got my cooler order wrong. And the waste! They put the bagel in a bag with napkins then hand it to me at the counter. Also, the counters have glasses but everything is served in disposable single use plastic.

Food was decent, but the service was terrible. There was one hostess on duty, and we had to seat ourselves. No menus, so you have to scan a QR code and use your phone to order through an app. Absolutely no follow-up either... so why am I being asked to tip the staff 18%? Thoroughly had it with these restaurants who insist on doing the bare minimum. Remember when dining out used to be fun?

OTG you have to use an app to order. What happened to a warm greeting and may I help you? Food was an average airport experience. Pricey too......

Thought it would be a quick grab and go for a toasted plain cheese bagel. $5.31 and 15 minutes later, got a cold burnt chewy bagel. Should've went to Dunkin.
