Pizza is possibly the best in the Downtown Newark area, especially for the cost, but don't expect friendly service because then you won't be disappointed. The one guy who tends to manage the cashier is sometimes friendly, other times quite surly, so don't take it personally and keep your eyes on the delicious prize that is the pizza. Tons of seating inside, but it can get crowded and noisy during lunch time. My preference has been Queen over Robert's for pizza, although I do frequent both -- Robert's is preferred for pasta. Due to the unfortunate fire that affected Robert's recently, Queens will be my pick for pizza for the foreseeable future.

While it may seem unsuspecting to most, I come here quite often for a "military salad" with chicken. This salad brings me great joy. This may seem strange, but I am not alone. It brings my colleague and friend, Nicole, joy as well. That is why we eat it all the time. The price and portion are just right; the dressing is perfect with just the right amount of citrus, and the chicken is flavorful and juicy. We eat in silence as we shovel it into our mouths to our bellies' content. The staff is always nice and the wait is never too long, even when it is busy.

My hubby and I stopped by for breakfast. Skeptical at first but gave it a shot anyways. It superseded our expectations. We had the number two combo with beef bacon. Beef bacon was amazing. I had cheese on my hash brown which was well flavored. Also had rye bread which I enjoy. The Owner was there and provided us with great customer service!

Pizza is good, but everything is overpriced especially their breakfast. The cooks don't use gloves and cooks the food with their bare hands. The only time they don't touch the food with their bare hands is during the peak lunch hour & you can imagine why. I ate at this place several times as I am visiting Newark on business. It's located near a few corporate buildings, which it became obvious why the food was so overpriced. Gave them several chances to change my mind (without letting them know I'm a Yelpie) and they continued to disappoint. The cashier taking my order sat on a personal call the entire time she was attending to me. Save your money & your time.

Worst experience ever placed an order with Queens Halsey St for breakfast as I love love their harvest muffins, needed to satisfy minimum 10.00 delivery I ordered two boiled eggs. Imagine my surprise when I received them & the charge was 4.00 for two eggs. I never thought to ask how much boiled eggs would be & able that price wasn’t advisedI’m Charged the same amount as a cooked egg sandwich would be. Grifting

I love this place because I can place my order @ 9am for pizza, etc., and it's delivered to my office by 11am. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the woman who takes my orders is always pleasant and never questions my early order, lol!
