I came here late one night and the kitchen was closed but the owner Tony, who is Spanish whipped up some of the most amazing food I have ever had in the ironbound. I highly recommend Maite to anyone who lives nearby and wants a great restaurant owned by a professional person.

Ever since the closing of El Pastor (RIP), my friends and I have been looking for a place for pre-Red Bull match fun. We (literally) stumbled upon Maite and it's been our go-to spot ever since. GREAT food, cold beer, and a friendly staff keep us coming back!

It's a cozy sport's bar with a nice balcony to watch games and nice food with a good price. Walked since I didn't want to watch it at home.
Love this place. Bar is great & the food is fantastic. Never super busy like many places nearby. Owner Tony is always there too & a really good guy.
