Great sushi and ramen selection. The parking around Newark is always an issue but it is not too bad around this area. The price went up slightly but it is still affordable.

Kind of spendy, tbh. Tonkotsu broth is mediocre to disappointing, not deeply favorful, certainly not god tier.

Char-sui was dry. Tonkotsu broth was lackluster overall the best part of my ramen was the egg and the highlight of the meal the chicken bun

Love this place. Went to school in this area in the 90s and remember when this place was a sub shop (similar to Blimpies) because I owned part of the business. It wasn't a hit unfortunately 😔. Now Ramen Gami fits the demographic and even though they went thru some troubles (fire) I am pleased they were able to reopen. Food is always good, service friendly ans fast. Atmosphere is college base and can be nosey for my liking yet take out is always a welcomed pleasure. Love there Ramen, poke bowls, and crunchy sushi rolls. As long as they stay consistent, I will be a patron! 👍🏼

Reasonable prices, great food, vegetarian options. What gets better than this?

Vegetarian options: Two mainline ramen options with a vegetarian option of Soy or Miso broths with fish cake swapped for spinach. Tastes great.

My family and I love everything about Ramen Gami! We’ve been coming here since the first day they opened. We usually eat our food too fast to take a nice picture because it’s so delicious, but I finally got one today. The miso ramen is truly the best ramen on the planet. I really have never had anything even close to this good from any other place. The noodles have the perfect snap to them. The broth is expertly simmered to perfection. The other soups on the menu are also amazing; Udon, Tonkatsu, Shoyu. And you can opt for extra noodles or even vegan spinach noodles. They are very accommodating for vegans and vegetarians as well as those with nut-allergies. Since it was Wednesday, I ordered their incredible Curry Katsu Tofu to go as well. We also got vegetable dumplings, edamame and an avocado roll, all amazing. Seriously, every single thing on the menu is incredible. This place is the best spot for a comforting, delicious meal made by wonderful owners and their staff. You can tell how much they care for what they do because the food is always consistently delicious and served with a smile. Please do yourself a favor and try Ramen Gami ASAP!

Vegetarian options: Ramen, buns, sushi, edamame, tofu curry katsu.

Dietary restrictions: Good for nut allergies, just speak with the servers.

Kid-friendliness: Kids love slurping up noodles here. And their ramune sodas are fun to drink!

I’ve been here a couple of times, and it’s definitely worth checking out. The ramen is really good, and the portion sizes are generous. However, if you start adding a lot of extra toppings, it can get expensive. Overall, it’s a great place to grab a quick bite.

Place was dirty, poorly maintained, dust everywhere I heard people shouting for their table to be cleaned upon sitting, i ordered for take out & realized my ramen didn’t have any of the 3 toppings i asked for they tried to get away with charging me & not giving me what i paid for. then i had to wait 20 minutes for the so called boss to issue my refund after i refused to let them redo my order. pathetic service wont ever come back & that was my first & last time coming. Zero Stars
