Went on my lunch break to try them for the first time. And got the 2pc whiting fish lunch special. For startes the rice was horrible the cabbage was okay. This fish smelled and tasted like ammonia thats how I knew the fish was bad cause fresh fish doesnt taste or smell like that..would say I want to try them again but its a no for me...couldn't even finish my food ..what a waste

The cat fish sandwiches are to die for, however; the cat fish nuggets are even better... It does not matter when you order them they are ALWAYS fresh! The other food items are just as delicious... The young man who cooks the food is mannererable, humbled, and kind. The young lady who takes the food orders are patient, kind, and humbled. The atmosphere is less than desirable, but the food is definitely chefs' kiss! Go and you will not be disappointed 💚

I love close to the south orange ave location but I rather drive alil further for good food. I should have took a Pic 📸 of Lyons ave mac & cheese 🧀 it was delicious ITS GONE I forgot to take a photo 📸 ps. I'm also a chef at a close by carribean restaurant so Lyons ave keep up the great work 👍🏾

So I shldv snapped a pic of their famous catfish nuggets, but...I ate them too fast 😳 I've returned multiple times and am happy to say you will not regret going for the aforementioned item nor their other fried items and potato salad. Unlike a few items, the seafood combos are decently priced. This must be why I've returned. Oh and did i mention the service was good each time.

The staff was friendly and courteous. The food was great and when I had went home an saw I was missing an item they gave no fuss about it.
Something is off about the food here. Not a fan of the Mac and cheese from this location. It seems to be spoiled cheese used for my dish.

Worse service EVER! Female that was taking orders wouldn't even get up out her seat to take my order and didn't even greet me as a customer spending my money on a overpriced fish sandwich. I ordered 2 fish sandwich that cost 28 dollars smh you'll think they would be more professional and greet their customers with respect.

Friendly staff, always stocked up on all options. If they dont have it cooked up, they will cook it just for you.☺️I just discovered this place and they are more than a fish frying place. They have Caribbean food options as well, and it is good! Some may think it is pricey, but for the amount of food you receive, your plates will be more than the money you pay! It's worth every penny!
Parking: Near hospital and this is a store front restaurant. So take out is the best option. This place gets super crowded, so call in your order before you get there. Makes life easier. It's not the restaurant's fault the parking is trash! Use the hospital lot.
Had the 8 piece fried fish..delicious! Came with tartar sauce and hot sauce but no bread. However, I asked for extra crispy fries, and they were on the money!
